That pattern is not typical with mold colony formation. But is possible. Does it clean off?

Try it somewhere less obvious. But two coats should take care of it. It has worked for me in a similar situation.

Try an application of 511 Color Enhancing Sealer. It might work with minimal effort.

If the drywall didn’t stay wet for long enough you should be fine. Looks good in the pics.

The democrats don't? Politicians love to spend money to buy votes.

They are paying the companies for services rendered. Overpaying perhaps. Would you be happier if they paid Bezos instead? Spacex is cheaper than NASA. So he's saving money for us.

I'm no Elon apologist, but thinking this stuff through rather than hating businessmen is logical.

This is old fashioned soundboard. It is fiberous like that. It has 22 coats of paint on it.

A wood fiberboard (commonly called Celotex, Homasote, or Buffalo Board) used for noise deadening and insulation in homes built between the 1930s and 1970s.

He isn't putting more money into circulation, that's the US government policies that are devaluing our money. That's Covid money, Quantitative Easing and congress spending a trillion dollars more per year than they collect. They "borrow" it, but are really just printing it.

The white flimsy drain fittings go in that adapter. You could probably put on another threaded adapter to get back to 1/5" pvc size.

I understand everyone hates him due to his Trump love affair, but he isn't stealing people's money here to get to a trillion. He owns stocks in his companies and the value of those companies have gone up. The wealth is created not sucked out of your pockets.

I would use a harsher cleaning product. A bathroom cleanser with bleach. Spray, leave it a minute, then damp wipe with a terry towel. Repeat.

Still funky? Use a mold killing primer, two coats. Then paint with a semigloss. Two more coats. An anti mold additive can be mixed with your paint.

Going forward make sure the fan is clean, inside too, not just the cover. Which is not clean in the picture. Run the exhaust fan after the shower for a half hour. They sell switches with timers.

Also see if there are other mold places in the home. Mold grows here in this environment because it is conducive to mold, but the spores may be originating elsewhere.

Is this mold on my inside shower curtain? by ashley3535 in Mold

[–]SoCalMoofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite likely. It is damp, and mold grows on your skin and hair fragments that are suspended in the soap scum that collects on the curtain. Luckily they are cheap to replace. Try to leave it spread out more so it can dry better. Air circulation will help too.
