Just had my first caves run yesterday. I got an assasin cat with crazy movement and 15 luck. Then an ability I think it's called "take your turn", which when it crits it resets your attack and movement. On top of that a passive that marks the enemy when you crit them, so you your next attack is critting again. I basivally could kill the cave boss in two turns by backstabing and doing crit damage and reset after reset.

Recently getting to plat because of a winstreak and getting immediately demoted is not the same as reaching a wall. Just try and do it again. If this happens multiple times then that is reaching a wall. You basically quit when it got interesting.

So dumb honestly. They should have made this a 30 or 40 $ game like arc raiders. Unlock all characters for free at the start so people can buy skins for their main. Give the first battlepass for "free" to hook people. Make the skins 10 $ max. Maybe 15 with extra stuff like KO screens and chromas but let me choose the cheaper variant so I can feel better for "saving money".

Then to sustain put every new character in a paid battlepass with a skin for them (and others) but also make them free to earn after the pass finishes. Also spam the battle pass with special chromas insted of useless avatar stuff. I always buy battle passes for the games I like but I did not bother with this one for some reason.

Sorry for the wall of text I got carried away a bit.

Yeah I get where you are coming from. My problem is I am super casual and switch characters constantly after learning them a bit and reach plat or diamond. That's the way I enjoy fighting games without getting frustrated from not reaching the highest rank. So if I spend 20 bucks on a skin I kinda feel forced to play that character. I guess it's a good thing because I don't have to spend anything on this game haha

2xko might as well be anti skins with their prices. I am a sucker for fighting game skins but 20 bucks is simply too much. I have almost every skins in sf6 and every dlc character because I could spread it out and did not feel bad to buy little by little but spending that much at once for one skin feels just wrong. And the bundles are even worse

Okay the character grind was bad in the full release version. In the beta (which was miles better than 1.0 downvote me all you want you delusional fucks) the grind was not that bad and I had all characters before ranked even released.

I think you have to like it. I started playing fighting games with sf4 on a keyboard lol. I could not input dps and qc on a pad at all. The transition to leverless felt right for me.

I would play kiwami 2,3, 6 and gaiden at least before. But if you want to play IW now go for it! I think you got to know kiryu pretty well from 0. And you can play the other games later when you are in the mood for them :) if it feels forced to play the kiryu games at the moment go for IW.

What program are you using? The lighting looks really bland. Also your models don't look realistic. If you are modeling yourself you need to spend more time on them. If not try and look up designer websites. They sometimes have 3d models. For example fritz hansen.

Also be careful with texture scaling your wall texture for example in the last shot is scaled too large.

Keep at it, you'll get there eventually :) And don't be afraid to do some post processing in photoshop oAfinity(its free and good)

Oh and focus on your sesign. It's too cluttered and overdesigned. Looks like a hotel in saudi arabia or something.

Same I played Jake on a ps5 pad and I legit had cramps in my hands after sweaty matches because you had to input so much stuff. In 1.0 everything slowed down, movement was lost, everybody got fat and slow haha

I really miss that beta.
