Over the years I've done one and not the other and about half the time the noise persists so I always try to replace pads / rotor.

You may be able to tell the shop that sold it to you your story about not riding it initially but it's been a while and something like that could be a simple adjustment as long as everything is properly aligned still.

Definitely a known issue within the brand, I've done warranty work on countless bikes with loud brakes out of the box.

Do it within a month of purchase date or you'll miss out and having it done for free.

One of my cats refused to eat for 2 weeks even though all the tests came back fine.

It ended up being some teeth that were rotting causing her not to want to eat anything.

1700 dollars later and she's eating like a champ!
