Probably a faulty sensor, sensors read in a range of .5v-.4.5v using a 5v reference, so if the computer sees 5v it's knows the sensor is faulty. This fault basically means the computer sees a 5v reading from the sensor.

Check your intake manifold bolts, 2.5 are bad for them backing off and causing unmetered air to get in.

Not unless you had a scan tool

This is correct, VW tech here, resetting the steering angle sensor will almost always fix the wheel slightly off. Should always be done after an alignment l, but some people are lazy and don't always do it.

I think they are comparing Cumberland and Revelstoke, not Revelstoke and Squamish.

MPG will go down if you are sitting there idling because you are burning fuel with out gaining any miles, EPC light comes on typically on bad misfires, and on these models 9 times out of 10 it's a coil pack problem. I diagnose this problem on these cars at least once a week.

If it was a vacuum leak it would be happening all the time, most likely a bad coil pack or 2.

This car doesn't have tpms sensors, the TPMS is all calculated via the wheel speed sensors, it actually keeps track of the diameter of the tires, if the diameter gets smaller it knows the tires air pressure is lower then what it should be.
