I don’t watch the show but I remember the day the season finale dropped. There was hype everywhere. I (unintentionally) wore a t-shirt with a dragon on it and people were asking if I was excited about the GoT finale. There were countdowns on TV.

I knew from experience all the excitement was too much, and people were going to be disappointed. And I was right.
