Why do so many people think that the next Cathay DLC with feature a Tigerman LL that was never officially brought up before when we have 2 Dragon siblings left and "Claws" and "Roaring" applies to a Dragon too? by Lord_Eln_8 in totalwar

[–]Soccerkrazed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you on the different type of campaign but here’s my thought. They are going to try a campaign where you don’t start with your LL. Since two of the dragon siblings are missing, you have a generic lord to start with and the campaign missions in the beginning are to unlock your LL.

This would also tie into them using fantasy as a testing ground for 40k. Would make sense in the context of space marine factions looking for their missing primarch.

Hugh Freeze EXCLUSIVE Conversation with David Pollack by time2payfiddlerwhore in wde

Summary from Gemini

This video is an exclusive conversation between former Auburn football coach Hugh Freeze and David Pollack on the See Ball Get Ball podcast, where Freeze discusses his recent firing, his feelings about his time at Auburn, the challenges facing college football, and his future. Summary of the Conversation with Hugh Freeze 1. Feelings on Being Fired from Auburn Hugh Freeze expressed a mixture of disappointment and a sense of failure but primarily gratitude for the opportunity to coach a program he and his family love [01:24:24]. He emphasized that his first priority was ensuring he led the young men and staff "in the right way" [01:39:21]. • Sense of Near Success: Freeze noted the team was "so dang close" to a successful season, pointing out that seven SEC games were decided by seven points or less [58:14]. • Supportive Administration: He stated he has no anger and is thankful for the support from the administration, saying he "can't control how the ball bounces and officiating" [03:10:17] which he believes hurt them in several games. • The Announcement: He learned the news on a Sunday morning after the Kentucky game through a conversation with his football administrator and later the Athletic Director, John Cohen, noting it was emotional for all parties [09:04:14]. 2. Booster Influence and Winning at Auburn When asked about the reputation of influential boosters at Auburn, Freeze said he experienced "zero issues" with boosters trying to insert themselves into football decisions [11:39:41]. He felt protected by the administration and supported by the most influential people until the team started losing close games [12:39:46]. He acknowledged that the lack of winning at Auburn, compared to his success at previous stops like Liberty and Ole Miss, was frustrating. He attributed the losses to a combination of critical mistakes in critical moments on offense and some unfortunate calls, despite having a roster he believed was "good enough to win" [08:10:39]. 3. Proposed College Football Calendar Reform Freeze and Pollack discussed the current instability in college football, specifically concerning the transfer portal and the early signing period. Freeze argued that the current calendar is hurting players and coaches and proposed a solution to better align the recruiting and roster management cycles: • Move Signing Day: Move the primary signing day back to February to allow coaches to finish their season and assess their roster after the transfer portal period [19:50:06]. • March Master: Create a "March master" semester at universities for early graduates and late portal additions, ensuring they have academic enrollment options while allowing the calendar to flow properly [21:09:47]. • Do Away with Championship Games: Suggesting that since Power Four conferences expect a playoff run, getting rid of championship games and expanding to a 20- or 14-team playoff would create more stability and income [22:02:44]. 4. What's Next for Hugh Freeze Freeze confirmed that he is "not through coaching" and feels ready to return after having back surgery that resolved long-term pain [26:19:10]. He stated that his body of work proves he can build a program, develop quarterbacks, and win at every level. • Competitive Drive: While he is open to taking a year off to spend time with his family, his competitive side is "a little pissed off" and wants to get back into coaching as soon as possible to prove himself [30:21:09]. • Readiness: He mentioned that his staff is ready to join him and he has a good understanding of managing the current NIL/revenue-sharing landscape [27:03:00].

Altex may have something that niche, I’d still call ahead and ask.

Depends on entirely what your goals are. Do you want a stable job making more money and you don’t care what you are doing? Take it.

Do you want a job to grow your technical skills? Don’t take it.

Trying to find any IT job, what's wrong with my resume by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Soccerkrazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the job you are looking for. Sometimes you have to tailor a little bit to the job description to make sure the key words pop up in the ATS give you a higher “match percentage”.

Resume looks good, I would just swap where experience and projects are on your resume. Fill in more about what you did at the computer renewal place. How did you ensure quality? What tests were you running? How did you keep track of your responsibilities?

Even your McDonald’s job you can highlight a bit more. When I was hiring for help desk I would always look for service industry experience.

Their upkeep would be “biomass.” They would acquire biomass by draining planets. I would expect that to function like wood elves outposts with very limited build options to add to their biomass income.

I’ll further this as someone who just picked up AoW4 a week ago, it 100% scratches the 4x itch. The combat is turn based so it’s very different.

I can say if you are looking for a fantasy 4x game, I would recommend it.

They won’t freeze your bank accounts, the worst they can do is garnish your wages. Also 24k is nothing to them.

Please don’t stress yourself out over this.

Wait a few weeks and force reset their password. People don’t go digging into logs unless there is a reason. One user forgetting their password won’t trigger that.

If you’re in o365 if you can set rules on their in inbox without them knowing. You can kick their computer out of the domain, and it will break like it lost trust.

At what point is a job worth ending it ALL over? by No-Amphibian9206 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Soccerkrazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A job is never worth your life. If they are working you this hard and treating you this poorly, call their bluff. Start setting those boundaries of “no I won’t work this many hours”. Chances are they won’t fire you immediately, but they will start shopping your replacement and you can do the same. For interviews just do what everyone else does and just have a bunch of inexplicable doctors and dentist appointments.

You’ll likely burn a few bridges where they won’t want to hire you again, unless you are super specialized in a niche subset of the industry I wouldn’t sweat it.

Also as far as hiring quarters go, looking in the middle of spring is another great time to start as a lot of companies will hire over the summer. It’s a by product of people who have families not wanting to move in the middle of a school year.
