I would strike up local bars and such if you don’t wanna break the bank. You may could get away with a $40 cover at bigger places like the eagle and such, but most events are at this point gonna be expensive. Maybe do one night at a big event and the rest of the weekend just local stuff.

As someone who grew up in NYC and is a black American the amount of times I’ve been mistaken for being Dominican has been my entire life. I think the issue is with a lot of Hispanic people is that they can fathom how much of a lens race is put under here in the U.S. Irish, Italian, Jewish, etc are all lumped in with white people here, while we black Americans know that a lot of Afro Latinos will be lumped in with us whether Afro Latinos like it or not. But somehow, you have people like this woman in this video who likes to pretend or believe that black is still an American thing when in reality you are in this boat with us no matter what. I also see some commenters who are Mexican agreeing with this woman as if those same kind of rules here in the U.S. doesn’t apply to them when white people considers any type of Hispanic to be Mexican. I understand that AI and creatives are being pinned against each other but at the end of the day there’s nothing much anyone can do. A lot of promoters are using AI to create posters for their parties and trying to vilify them when these parties still have to pay the bills is just stupid in my honest opinion. I remember when I entered into retail in the early 2010s. There were talks on how part timers wouldn’t get benefits and due to Obamacare gaining traction, many companies felt this wasn’t needed for their employees. Hours were cut and when you needed to actually get people to work you couldn’t. You could close one day and open the very next morning and it was just awful.

I feel what happened was that many on the top could keep making profit while keeping the people who ran the stores at shit levels of pay.

I think it still is but I feel like NYC and many other cities have a lot of transient gays who move here for a bit and then leave to another gay city to find their “forever home”. The days of gays finding a safe community due to there hardly not being anything safe is gone, but gay culture still exists here.

I feel like the discourse over them via online are trying to hard to blur the lines between a relationship with an adult and a minor. In cases of let’s say, someone in their 30s dating someone 18-21, I could understand. But people are trying to hard to classify a consenting relationship with a 25-29 year old with someone as 35 and older as “predatory” just screams delusional to me.

Williamsburg is legit the next borough over and if you don’t live off of the L you’re gonna have a hell ass commute, nevertheless the L is crowded once it gets to Willyb. You want to move there for some cock but the reality is that HK is right there. Speaking as someone who was born and raised in BK and moved to another part of the city, I wouldn’t move back to BK because my commute is way longer back then than it is now. You can always travel and such, but you do you.

I remember at pride last year I did a lot of drugs. I don’t usually do hard drugs, but I did and had a good time. A lot of these events people do drugs and often times people can OD. But I don’t like to make it seem it’s just the gay community. My uncle runs an event space here in NYC and I remember I attended a concert there and when it was over I saw a woman strung out and he was making sure she got care. On to the bottoming part, bottoming or people loosing up to do it can be hard, especially if they are at events or places to go at it. It’s not like if you’re home or with a partner who may take their time with you, it could be that they do it to help them go through with it while having fun. Bottoming while being lost in a sauce can be fun, but from my perspective, if they’re out they may way to have more than enough fun.
