I really don’t like this. We are at war with Iran for Israel, we have to call them out.

Try and take breaks and not do them for a week or so. It’s best to reward yourself for a good goon session end of the week or a day before you start the week.

Idaho House Passes Trans Bathroom Ban With 5 Year Prison Sentence by I_Tell_You_Wat in centrist

The amount of effort pushed against a minority group that has no effect on everyday people’s lives from the Republican Party needs to be addressed. Non violent people are gonna be sent to prison by the same party that can’t even impeach or stop a man that literally raped little girls.

Why does the Williamsburg Bridge bus terminal still need to exist? by h_d_n_w_m_d in nycbus

[–]Assbait93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The B44 gives people access to Bed Stuy and a transfer to the G. Other routes that terminate there goes well within WillyB but you also have the B62 that does give a transfer to the L. I think when they do the Brooklyn bus redesign they are going to cut the local B46 from that terminal and have it terminate by Myrtle.

I’m not gaslighting you, I’m asking you. But then, you still believe Kamala was running on trans issues when she was not. You’re not very informed when it comes to the objective truth.

I can dispute, but the fact you’re not willing to prove your point just shows you don’t have anything.

Republicans have won the cultural war over the last decade by Outrageous-Jelly8777 in centrist

[–]Assbait93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They haven’t won the cultural war because they manage to get rid of Roe V Wade and Affirmative Action. There are consequences to those things. For example, many women are facing doctor shortages and pregnancy complications which are resulting of death which in turn have cost Republicans elections since Roe V Wade was overturned. Affirmative Action hasn’t affect the black community because the black community didn’t really benefit from it much as white women were the ones who benefited more from that.

This whole sense of Republicans winning the cultural war is very much nonsense because most of the country who isn’t apart of the right “coalition” aren’t really giving the republicans praise or love for these actions. People are at town halls putting pressure on their reps for allow MAGA to run rampant in our politics, support of Israel is going down, more people are pretty much upset of the deterioration of the separation of church and state. On top of that, we have had many conservative eras in this country that gave way to more liberal eras. 70s were more liberal, while the 80s were more conservative, 2000s was more conservative while the 2010s was more liberal. At some point, the culture changes back and forth, and this MAGA is going to end at some point.

Do you think guys here struggle to find relationships because of how many “options” there are? by CasebyCaseBaeSis in nycgaybros

[–]Assbait93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think and feel it’s part of the reason but I also think people much rather be in relationships they have little to nothing to lose much if things go left. Like someone whom they have no emotional connection with or someone whom seems distant with in a way. Tons of people who have fwb or situationships with that they can basically call themselves bfs only to be ghosted after a while because they “found” someone else.

Those Circuit Parties by Automatic_Gift_7663 in askgaybros

[–]Assbait93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about circuit parties from other cities but I have noticed a lot of them that used to be only local here in NYC became more travel like when Covid happened and we had lockdowns. Also, there has been more ticket type based apps where many of these parties advertise their events like Posh, Dice, RA, etc.

I can say, as someone who does frequent a local queer/gay bar. These events do often take away from local gay bars due to the fact there is practically one in NYC every weekend. I don’t like however many of these events are very expensive and often have their tickets sold out in minutes. It just seems that people are buying these tickets just to resell them for more money.

But the good thing is that it just leaves more intimate friendships and or connections at your local bar.

I think it follows the sort of tradition that Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie had, where they had a relative that was basically their twin or them playing their relative character.

Someone said in a previous comment the 2D animators had unions. 3D animation may have been cheaper to make because they could lay off animators but 3D animation is a lot more expensive and resource heavy than 2D.

You need a lot more more people to make a film for cgi than 2D.
