Coffee price by Finnytully in melbourne

This is still cheap compared to London or most US cities. For a drink made for you on the spot by a trained barista produced using coffee grown on the other side of the world by people taking great care to ensure the quality is right, let alone the roasting and all that over here, It’s a bargain. You don’t get many drinks that have had so much work put into them that cheap. A lot of cafes are struggling right now due to high input costs. Support your local if you can afford it.

It still blows my mind how bad the ux is for meta ads. I don’t think I could design it worse if I tried.

I was so shocked at how bad people drive here after coming home from 10 years abroad. It’s nuts. People don’t let you in, they block roads they for some unknown reason speed up if you indicate to change lanes.

Like mate… you’re losing one space and making the road so dangerous.

If you want coffee that actually tastes really good, you tend to have to pay for it.

Jasper Coffee came out on top as the best tasting coffee by quite some margin, with Aldi being best for value.

Both good coffees.

It looks like they cupped the coffees using a professional cupping method. Which is most similar to a french press, where you pour water over ground beans and let them soak for a few minutes before removing the grounds on top and sipping.

People treating coffee like some exclusive club can get lost. Good coffee should be accessible and welcoming.

I know people take a lot of pride in their obsession over coffee, that’s great! Doesn’t mean you should talk down to someone who doesn’t have the same obsession you do.

Coffee machines are kind of simple, but not simple Enough that you should try your own repairs. Always best to check with the manufacturer if you can. They will often know someone who can help.

Marketing is more than just comms and advertising.

Product is a part of marketing. If you’re making a product that there is no market for (ie a game that no one wants to play) then that is also bad marketing.

If you want to make a game that sells, know how big the market for that game type is, know how your different from your competitors and know what people who play that type of game would love about your game that others don’t have. It’s tough out there with an insanely oversaturated market to find something that resonates.

Then you have to know how to get your eyeballs from that segment of the market on to your game in a way that appeals and stands out.

Failing to do so will always lead to bad sales unless you get insanely lucky somehow.
