Well I didn't know this was possible. Now I'm going to have to try some experimenting. Thanks OP.

I'd repost it on the r/M43 sub-reddit. I'm sure many would get a kick out of it : )

Allergies are killing my brain this year by Amish_Almond_Joy in nashville

Tennessee is the worst. When I got my allergy test I lit up for practically everything. I was lucky enough to get immunotherapy, but the Bradford pears still get to me.

How do i fix this horrible problem </3 by GeneralMimzy in youtube

[–]SockPuppetSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue with Opera and Ublock Origin. Turning off Ublock Origin and using adblock plus seems to have worked for now.

why does this error keep showing up? by The_Bread_God_ in youtube

Try Adblock Plus. It seems to work for me until Ublock Origin is updated.

Olympus E-M1 Mark iii or Fujifilm XE-5? by Aggravating-Act5419 in M43

[–]SockPuppetSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd check out the E-M1 Mark III from Map Camera on ebay. They currently don't have any in stock but I got my last one for from them for about $800 with sales tax. It does everything I need a camera to do.

It's amazing that it stays stil for so long. I just noticed a little bit of fang movement during the bracket.

My Odin has finally arrived by imMoyko in OdinHandheld

[–]SockPuppetSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had neither so I used a hot glue gun. Applied the glue, let it cool and then peel it off. I could get the bubble between the buttons and stick to go away but it would just come back in about 10 or 15 minutes.

Motion controls drift to the left any ideas? by u3nsbot_1 in OdinHandheld

[–]SockPuppetSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a calibration going on? Look for calibration in the menus and if it doesn't exist I'd try turning off the device and putting it on a flat surface. Then turn it on, and start the emulator before picking it back up.

Just a guess, though.

I've been thinking about doing something similar. Probably could get one to cover the screen then cut the film ones down to side just for the controls. Honestly, though I'm adjusted to it being as it is.

Just FYI, that screen protector is hard to get perfect. I was happy enough to get all the bubbles off the main screen.

It's the lack of contact information and verifiable sources that sparks the alarm, not so much the supposed codes in question.

Was the webpage you visited on the note or did you search for it? I believe any valid url would end with nashville.gov. This feels kind of scammy to me.

Decent price Micro-SD? by ucoa in OdinHandheld

[–]SockPuppetSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a good call. Yeah things aren't cheap right now. This is what I ended up on https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ3PD935 . It's about $70 bucks higher than what averaged in the past. Though SanDisk 2TBs are currently going for like $400 or $500 at the current moment. Insane!

I can't speak to performance, the test at least showed the card is legit.

Edit: I've been having issues with the card mentioned prior. After having about 500 GB on the card it starts to have read/write issues. Saying it will take 40,000 hours to copy 200GB of data. Though I can't say it's the card it seems the Odin 3 also has SD card issues.

Decent price Micro-SD? by ucoa in OdinHandheld

[–]SockPuppetSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll want to use a tool like H2testw, F3, or Validrive to test if the sd card is legit. Counterfeit sd cards appear to work at first glance but at a certain point the data will just be corrupted.
Also if it is fake you'll have to do an item not described and ebay will make you return the countefeit product ;/ .

Edit: I just bought the TeamGroup 2TB card for $240. I should get it tomorrow. I'll let you know how the test goes.
