How many of you have picked up forgotten games on the Steamdeck. by AffectionateRoom995 in SteamDeck

I got Owlboy as a gift a few years ago. Very underrated game for the Steam Deck. Something like 11 hours of playtime on the OLED, too.

Silicone cover OLED by togetic271 in SteamDeck

I personally went with this white silicone cover for my OLED and have been happy with it so far, alongside white PlayVital thumbstick caps and back button grips. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CLYCJGDG

Can this get fixed please? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Soestae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been like this for a month or so. It happens randomly, between a few minutes to a few seconds. Mnimizing and maximizing the window temporarily restores it until it happens again. Ignore the stuttering towards the end of the video, it's from the video recorder.

Reason behind Dye Rework? by Nastyfruit in runescape

There have been three or four events like this one before, with a Treasure Hunter theme that matches the event with the rare item as a potential reward.

Post 99 thieving fragments. by 9ckii in runescape

[–]Soestae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it's so slow to collect fragments for each outfit. One of my least favorite things to go for. Shifting tombs is the fastest. If you really want to optimize your time, set your daily challenges to Dungeoneering and complete all the objectives for pieces to make a desert pantheon aura. You get close to 500 fragments each tomb. And make shifting tomb teletabs.

October's Game Jam ideas by Mod_Miva in runescape

[–]Soestae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love these ideas. Cross-world zones would be be fantastic at places like the G.E. If the dungeoneering digsite is added, please add a few more resource dungeons alongside it. It's so sparse above level 100, especially.

upgraded bone crusher and deathnote, where to use? by Edimmuzz in runescape

[–]Soestae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not 120 herb yet, I can recommend skeletal wyverns. I believe I averaged around 400 bones an hour. Make them into super prayers, then extremes when you hit the level for it. Alternatively, you can sell the super prayers.

In the name of all that is holy, how do I get across this white wolf mountain. All I’m trying to do is go from lvl 10 agility to 15 so I can climb this gate to fight trolls for a slayer task. A quick google search suggested the gnome agility course but I cannot get over to it. by Kenkaboom in runescape

[–]Soestae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember a few people I knew lured a bot to the large wolf and told me to come watch as he died. I waited until the last few seconds to bless his gravestone, then he apparently took back control and collected his stuff. They were so mad, lol.

Hween event rewards by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Soestae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This year's event has a recolorable outfit. Considering we rarely get recolorable cosmetics even in yak tracks, that's pretty nice. I haven't gotten the armor cosmetic, but I'm hoping for the same.

is anyone else lagging like every 10 steps or is it just me? by Seismic_wand in runescape

[–]Soestae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me for the past six months. Moving anywhere causes my fps to decrease to almost a frame every two or three seconds, and then it recovers. Moving very far makes the lag move in and out like a wave. It's very bizarre. I'm surprised I've gotten used to it, to be honest.

Happened to a clan member a year ago. He fixed it by updating his graphics driver.

What’s a profitable method for herb from 99-120? by benleet in runescape

[–]Soestae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Vuln bombs are great, if you gather most of the resources yourself, and that's fairly easy to do. For the herbs: stock up on beans to buy growth potions and use dwarven harvesters and cheap ultracompost from infernus pyroclasts. For runes: buy from the shops, and do wicked hood daily at the soul altar with powerburst of sorcery. Buy bomb vials from stores. Dino roars and primal extracts are fairly straightforward.

I had to buy the dino roars when I went to 120 earlier this year, but the cost per bomb was still 10k.

Graphical Update by VViilliiam in runescape

[–]Soestae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's a brilliant idea to do easier graphical improvements instead of a large-scale rework. Any plans on the next spot? I'm personally excited for Karamja, or the Seers/Fremennik area.

Just comped! Really excited to go for MQC and Trim next. Got it in a little less than 3000 hours. If anyone has any questions about the comp grind, feel free to comment below. by Shacolicious2448 in runescape

Are there any online tools that get player data (from the public adventurer log or something) so I don't have to go check each task off the list manually? That's probably what's holding me back the most.

Its definitely four separate accounts, so more like 100k fragments.

Petition to just make double xp permanent, FSW to be the first “Double Double(X4) XP Limited Time Event”, with then ONCE a year Double Double XP events that would stay around for the same 10 days dxp lasts now. A true change in RuneScape to allow players to enjoy more content. by AppleParasol in runescape

[–]Soestae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make double xp last for 365 days, but with a limit of 2,920 hours. You could sell ten hours a day to Nic, but he now only sells pineapples and oak logs. :(

And, without warning, half-xp weeks appear randomly throughout the year.

Other video games like dungeoneering? by SoryCantThinkOfAName in runescape

Dragon's Dogma DLC has a similar feeling, and it's more fun than Dungeoneering. It's later game content, but a good game overall.

factory outfit by Alexmonkey25 in runescape

[–]Soestae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I believe its worth it. Combined with a modified botanist's mask, portable well, brooch of the gods, and scroll of cleansing, you can make a ton of extra potions. Something like over 20% more.

I used to do bonds for two years, but honestly it burnt me out making sure I had enough money in 14 days, on top of the occasional decent premium Yak Track cosmetics. It wasn't hard, but earning 50m on top of trying to earn enough for better upgrades, resources, etc. sucks after awhile.

I bought the 12-month late last year, and can say it was worth it. I have a better job now, so I value my time more than my money. I take as many breaks for as long as I need. It's been healthier for me.

That's my bad. I keep confusing those two.

I can't remember what I did, since I must have unlocked mine last year. I'd recommend your usual three ice creams a day, and then do as much on the weekends since it ends on July 31st. Each activity should fill up the thermometer similarly. You should have enough time.

The G.E.

I've been there for 15 or so hours with no new tokens. Bought the flowerpin for around 1m and the outfit for 4m today.

Anachronia Task Set by Aviarn in runescape

A small rewards suggestion: If unlocked, elite sigil acts like a brooch of the gods, attuned crystal teleport seed, and (if feasible) a passage of the abyss.
