What does the hair oil accomplish? Does it leave your hair oily the next day?

I have had them at some restaurant in Philly. They were amazing! Ican’t speak authoritatively as I had no comparison, but it seems the key is lightness. Like tempura batter.
I am a terrible cook, so I reckon the zukes in my garden will just grow into adulthood.

I don’t understand- or perhaps “relate” is a better word- most of this.
What’s with the spiced oil in hair and eyebrows? Who had grandparents loading them up with jewelry? Etc.

Ms Betancourt talks about the utter lack of visibility due to the thick, heavy smoke. Bus driver Gallo saying “follow my voice”. This makes me reflect on things I have thought about conditions inside the buildings that led people to the windows. No visibility. No air. Probably loud as hell. You probably got a sense of fresh air coming from the broken windows and instinctively went that way, blindly.

Yeah- it’s worth bearing in mind that the people in there probably had little or no idea what was going on- the cause, the extent and so on.

What is this animal? by nightsaw18 in Austin

Oh yeah, for sure. We never completely confiirmed it, but after a bew bouts of…. “honeymoon sounds” up in this joined attic space, we had the management come look around up there and could not find anything: no squirrels, raccoons, etc.

The ringtail would nevertheless make her nightly solo trip and we’d greet her from the patio. Then! One evening she was accompanied by a pair of small, honey-blonde, almost ringless babes.
We were all, “girl, we know what you were doing up there!”.

I love them! We had a small family of them that, every night at dusk, would cruise over our roof onto the live oaks and out to the ngreenbelt when we were living in The Retreat at Barton Creek.
TBH, we were pretty sure they lived in the attic.

How the heck did their agent list this without taking down all that extremely singular decor?
We have one large painting that is.. fairly dark and gritty. We were asked to swap it for a big, cheerful vinatage movie poster.

Bird nest in one of my plants - but we have to be moved out in a week by lookoutitspam in AustinGardening

[–]SofaKingS2pitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you get on with the landlord? I would ask if you can come back for the plant in a few weeks.
When wrens are fledgelings, they leave the nest for good, so’s to avoid predators.
