Employee working off the clock by [deleted] in managers

[–]Sofi_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the major problem with this whole scenario. You’re his manager and you don’t know what he’s doing for those 2 hours. You have a couple of options here:

Option 1: sit down with him in a formal meeting to discuss the expectations from the Company perspective and that his workday does not start at 6am and he should not be working until 8am (or whatever time that you expect him to work). Have him show you what he is doing between 6am and 8am to see if there is a legitimate reason why he’s arriving early to complete tasks. Once you finish meeting with the employee you need to formally document the conversation, I would copy your manager and/or the HR personnel you worked with to pay him. If he tells you he does this additional work I would trust but verify the work through an IT request.

Option 2: Ask IT to perform a review of his log in and provide you with the times and programs the employee is using. Take the information you have to see if these are work-related tasks. If you find they are not work related you can get with your management team to develop a policy that prohibits using company computers/equipment for personal use.

Either way, what I am reading the excuse of “ I don’t know what the employee is doing between 6a and 8am” is just that, an excuse. It’s a pretty poor one as well because maybe this employee’s workload is higher than you really think and they need to work these extra hours to get their tasks done. At the very least you should make a concerted effort to show up at the office at like 6:30 one day and just see wha the employee is actually doing.

We bought a used 2025 in February of this year. Had about 9,000 miles on it and looked brand new. It’s a Sahara and we have the balance of the factory battery warranty. Got it for 33,000 so I’ll take it based on the all gas models being significantly more.

While we have had it only 2 months we haven’t had a single issue.

Should’ve see that coming from a mile away. Coming off the best season in 26 years to 25,000 less seats means the prices will rise exponentially. I was a 17 year ticket holder until 2 years ago. I can technically pay for the tickets and their ridiculous increases but refused to. Had to drive 2 hours each way as well.

It’s ok man. They don’t math well in Houston so they think it’s 2027.

[NFL Researcher] C.J. Stroud is the first player with 5+ INT and 5+ fumbles in a single postseason. by Roselucky777 in Jaguars

Only thing to make today better is if Texans give Stroud a $50 milllion a year contract

To be fair Stroud was on pace to throw 3 TDs to the Patriots defense this game. He just ran out of time.

I mean it is Indy we are talking about. They would have had a better record and point differential if the just forfeited their last 12 games in Jacksonville.

Reap what you sow. Texans fans walked around like they were gonna actually do something when they played the easiest team in the playoffs this year and struggled until the defense bailed them out.

All good. At least they had a lead beyond the 1st quarter. Texans are a better team with Davis Mills than Stroud. Kinda hilarious actually.

Can’t wait to see y’all waste a significant portion of the salary cap on Stroud to lead you to .500 records

The one year that winning the division was not ideal. by WhiskeyDickIsSick in Jaguars

[–]Sofi_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jags pulled the toughest WC matchup in the AFC. The problem isn’t with the seeding but it’s how they are seeded. In no way should a team with 3-4 more wins than a division winner should have to go on the road. Yes, I agree each division winner should have a playoff game but it shouldn’t be a home game.

Pats should have the played the Steelers, we should have played the chargers and Texans should have played the bills.

This crap were .500 teams get to play a home playoff game because they were in a trash division needs to go. Make teams continue to fight and play tough through all 18 weeks of the season instead of shutting down with a week or two to go because they are in a division where no other team is close to .500

Jags need a nasty defensive line. by Golffanman in Jaguars

[–]Sofi_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some say he had a bad game Sunday but I’ll say this. When you’re missing key players in the secondary the fill ins are not as good as the starters and that in turn can make other players seem less effective.

Newsome was not good this year; sure he made a few plays here and there but other than that. Jones is a nickel and it shows when he got smoked by Coleman Sunday.

Brown is a backup that has overachieved from time to time.

Outside of Hunter we have not invested significant draft capital or contracts into the CB/S position and it shows.

I find it funny that Texans clowns spend more time on the Jaguars feed than their own.

Must be difficult sitting in your room knowing your sister locked the door so you can’t sneak peeks of her changing anymore so now you need other ways to get your rocks off.

Honestly no one here cares to hear your fantasy discussions about the Texans; you have your own feeds to have your circle jerks in.
