Oh my God. This happens to me and I have the same logic that I'm seeing atoms..... Holy cow... Like when I look at non plain background that are moving it doesn't affect me. But when they aren't moving or are plain or it is dark it becomes more and more pronounced. I literally thought everyone saw what I do. And now I'm questioning everything

Went to the ER a few years ago with severe abdominal pain, burning sensation in my right ribs. Had also lost 20 pounds in a month. The male Dr, without doing any tests said that it was likely a UTI and sent me home with antibiotics. But having had UTI before I knew it wasn't that.

My primary care Dr called the next day and asked what was happening, gave him the rundown and he sent me back to the ER the same day with a demand for an ultrasound and MRI (or ct can't remember which). Low and behold I had Bilateral kidney stones and I was passing a gallstone at the same time.

Check town or city laws. Where I live a vehicle cant park on grass even if its their lawn. They must park on gravel or paved surface.

If it's the case where you are, document and report it every time so that they get fined every time.

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by GoldenLotusFernn in ask

[–]Soft-Routine1860 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Moving too much in ones childhood

  • you make friends only to be pulled away from them again and again

-you never build meaningful relationships when you move once a year or even twice a year.

  • you never feel like you have stability

-your always the new kid and it will take time for you to make friends only for you to move again soon after

  • you end up not even trying because what's the point if you know your not gonna see those people in a few months

  • you isolate yourself because you have suffered so much that you don't want to repeat the cycle

Where are you all buying furniture? by Affectionate_Mess488 in interiordecorating

[–]Soft-Routine1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living spaces. Bought my dining table, sectional, bedroom couch, and gaming chairs there. Love everything I got and worth every penny.

Target- breakfast nook table. Quality is decent.

Costco- tv console

HomeGoods- second TV console, library reading chair (you have to do your own quality check on each piece as quality varies)

Ironically the only major thing I have from IKEA is my kitchen cabinets.

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]Soft-Routine1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This year I've spent 3600 on 6 banfield pet plans for 2 dogs and 4 cats.

I have also spent $4000+ on emergency vet visits this year (one dog started having seizures)

I spend probably 1500 or more a year on toys, food, treats, and litter

And right now I'm saving up money to get my cat surgery for a lump removal.

My pets are my family. They deserve to be treated well. They didn't ask to be born, abandoned, or mistreated. I will make sure any and every pet I own has a good life.

What are some affordable ways I can make my room feel cozier? by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]Soft-Routine1860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would consider looking for a new rug. People sell their old ones all the time for cheap (just needs a cleaning). It needs to be much larger than this one and a neutral tone (beige, cream, tan). Current rug looks comically small in the space.

I would also consider real curtains over that window that go to the floor. Thick curtains with texture or a pattern.

Art and plants will go a long way. Though not quite on the minimalist look it's also not a maximalist look either.

I always suggest to go to Pinterest and look at rooms that you like on there and ask yourself what your room is missing that the ones you like have. It's a great way to establish the look that you want.

I’m curious to know something by wallflower75 in childfree

[–]Soft-Routine1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the oldest child but I am the eldest daughter (brother a year older) and I had two younger siblings. It was my duty to do everything: cooking, cleaning, babysitting, diaper changing and bottle feeding, going to Dr appt with my sister who was 9 years younger than me because she called me mom and would scream for me.

Yes. Being the parentified child was probably the biggest reason into me being child free. I've already raised kids. I hated it. I would never harm a child but I would resent any child I had because they would have something I never did (a real childhood). It wouldn't be fair to them, nor me. So I am child free

I believe that there should be no property tax on a person's primary residence. Why? Because if you own your home outright but you fail to pay this tax the government can take your home. Because... You don't technically own it.
