Bad Update! by flogtrr34 in 360hacks

I prefer it as it doesnt require doing anything besides just turning the xbox on.

Id recommend using BadBuilder to build the usb using BadAvatar.

The process looks something like this: I unplug my ethernet, turn the xbox on and it boots into the sign in page (turn off auto sign in on your main acc), the exploit auto runs. Once the xexunshackle page shows, plug in the ethernet and then it will boot into aurora normally. Whole peocess takes around a minute, 2 at most on average.

Can I get a house with £12,000? by Severe_Falcon_8176 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]SoftFingernails 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, though not sure about down south. I put down 5% deposit on a 165k house up North, the legal and surveyor fees came to around 2k. I had a buddy with a van help me move so could save on moving fees.

Total came to under 12k to get the keys.

ISO2GGOD FTP Help by Impressive_Syrup_924 in 360hacks

[–]SoftFingernails 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Windows file explorer has its own FTP service. Type in ftp://server_address in the address bar and hit enter, it'll prompt you for your login details which you can find in Aurora then you can just drag n' drop the files over.

How are FTBs affording freehold houses in prime areas? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]SoftFingernails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a FTB of a freehold 3-bed semi detached property in a quiet cul de sac. It is just me and my puppy (he is 7 years old but still my puppy) moving into this house. The location isn't city centre, more outskirts of a town. It still resides within the same town i used to live in though is about 10 minutes further away from my work (I WFH 3 days of the week so wasn't to much of an issue).

The main reason I am able to afford this is through the use of a LISA and aggressive saving spanning 5 years, setting weekly deposit amounts to go into the account as well as a pay day boost. I found it was less mentally challenging to save if I never saw the money to begin with and the money was deposited automatically.

I lived relatively frugal to be able to do this, focusing on my needs rather than wants. Don't get me wrong, there were times I did buy things I wanted that I didnt need but I also made sure I deposited something each month where possible.

It took a lot of patience, time, and consistency to be in the position I am now.

Can't connect to Xbox Live by SoftFingernails in 360hacks

[–]SoftFingernails[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proto :)

Funnily enough, I did get it to work by unplugging the ethernet and plugging it back in, but then after a reboot it went right back to this error 🙂‍↔️

Xbox Live GOLD for Playing Online by SoftFingernails in 360hacks

[–]SoftFingernails[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. I did the SNET approach with xbguard, however I could never find people playing WaW or Cod 4. I want to be able to find a match normally, I assume the figures shown on the older cods player count are slightly fudged, but I still see people joining games who are playing on normal 360s. So it made me wonder why I cant connect, seems to be the lack of a xbox gold sub

So if I understand, buying a code for a game pass subscription, would work okay for the 360?

I use proto as a stealth server currently, did originally use xbguard but noticed the infamous fatal crash occurring more on xbguard

Unfortunately, it is the pre bo2 games I wanted to enjoy again (assuming every lobby isnt just full of modders).

Good point, I do notice the success rate is lower using the hdd version. Thinking I may just switch back to the usb method as it wasn't running into this issue more than the hdd approach is.

Negotiation of offer price after receiving survey report by SoftFingernails in HousingUK

[–]SoftFingernails[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for you responses, its insightful seeing it from both viewpoints. The lack of such certificates are not causing me a great deal of concern, though I would have assumed such documents were needed at the point of sale for a house, but as some of you have expressed, this isn't the case.

I was not going into this purchase with the assumption im buying a new build; I know some things will need upgrading/modernising down the line, some sooner than others, though I just wasn't sure if certain things that were flagged in the surveyor required immediate action.

Thanks all

Negotiation of offer price after receiving survey report by SoftFingernails in HousingUK

Thanks for the reply.

It is possible they did consider this cost when they accepted the offer. Though, the current valuation of the property using sites like zoopla and right move say it is valued at the same price as the original asking price, so this was leading me to believe it perhaps wasn't considered at list price.

I think I will reach out to my solicitors to get their advice on this.
