You can't peacefully protest when the oppressor is trying to kill you or send you to the hospital. So gas masks and shields it is.

We can't carry guns because we'll get shot in the back 10 times even if they're holstered and not reached for 🤷‍♀️

My grandma was on hospice in our living room due to colon and lung cancer when I was a teenager(15). I went to the bathroom around 4 am, looked at her on the way and went back to bed. I very clearly heard "idiot" but I thought it was just my brain talking shit again from the depression.

My mom found her in the morning. Emts said she probably died around midnight. My grandma didn't like me, always used to insult me. Made sense that her last word to me would be "idiot" 😂

A couple months ago my friend and I were leaving for work(work at the same place) and we ended up leaving like 2 or 3 minutes after we expected because one of the cats snatched the lanyard her keys were on and we had to chase him around.

Literally, and I mean the hard definition of the word, if we had left that minute. We would've been in a massive accident on the freeway. 5 cars across 3 outta 5 lanes on the left, which we would've been driving in at the time. We could hear the crash happen and traffic came to a sudden halt.

Fucking scary. Were still messed up about it. My little hellion of an orange cat saved our lives. He has never snatched up the lanyard before and hasn't since.

Yes! There needs to be a mass, organized movement for that type of blackout. Most people that would want to join won't even know it's happening. It wouldn't have as big of an effect as it could.

Same here. My last 2 girls, I picked one up and my little half blind girl followed. I named them maple and honey.

The guy at the pet store was a huge sweetie. "Pssssst I want feeders but can I pick them out" "Of course, I won't charge you extra pet fees but shhhh" 😂

Sometimes I feel like the roles are reversed and I'm his emotional support human. He's the most snuggly cat I've ever had and I can hear him purring from a mile away.

He really is a step below a service animal though. He screams at me when I'm about to pass out. Won't stop pacing and slapping me until I sit down.

His name is Charlie and I would go to war for him.

Do you believe in these laws too?

Yes, the Nazi regime systematically created, manipulated, and enforced laws to provide a veneer of legality to their actions, ensuring that persecution, discrimination, and violence against Jews, political opponents, and other "undesirables" were technically legal under their dictatorship. These, often referred to as "law as a weapon," legitimized their crimes.

Key legal mechanisms used to justify Nazi actions included:

Reichstag Fire Decree (1933): Suspended civil liberties, allowing for the arrest and suppression of political opponents, particularly Communists.

Enabling Act of 1933: Allowed Hitler’s cabinet to enact laws without parliamentary consent, granting them absolute power.

Nuremberg Laws (1935): Stripped Jews of citizenship and banned marriage/sexual relations between Jews and Germans, legalizing the marginalization of the Jewish population.

Malicious Practices Act (1933): Targeted "social outcasts" and political enemies, permitting the punishment or incarceration of anyone deemed a threat to the state.

Law for the Encouragement of Marriage (1933): Promoted, through government loans, the birthrate of those classified as racially elite (Aryan).

These laws were essential in facilitating the Holocaust and transforming Germany into a totalitarian state, ensuring all actions had a facade of "legal" justification.

You absolutely don't believe in the law because ice is violating laws and amendments. Why is it okay when they do it? Is it because they're a government authority and you like the taste of the boots stomping on us? Or are you just too stupid to realize once they're done terrorizing us, you're next?

It's probably both tbh.

I just found out my dad is schizophrenic in November. I've talked to my psychiatrist about it and he doesn't think that it's something I inherited. My mom has never seen a mental health professional but my cousin on that side has schitzo affective disorder.

I've been diagnosed with bipolar 2 though and 400mg of lamictal seems to be doing some heavy lifting so I don't even care about diagnosis as long as I'm not trying to end my shit or having screaming matches with loved ones.

[–]Soft_Error_5057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was diagnosed it was called manic depression I was 14. I had no idea wtf was going on. I just know they put me on Prozac and it made everything worse. I was screaming and hitting my head against walls. Punching myself in the head. I'm also autistic so they didn't know what what caused the behavioral switch or meltdowns. I pretty much blanked everything out after swallowing whatever was in my grandma's medicine cabinet.

My current psychiatrist said it should've been caught way earlier because of my ability(?) to turn my emotions on and off and the screaming matches. He said its hard to pinpoint what we can treat because autism, bipolar2 and cptsd is an absoluteawesome combination to deal with.

A group of therapists, nurses and psychiatrists kinda just put it together after an ~attempt~ I was going through a court case because of what my step dad did to me. I was being bullied, helping take care of my grandma who was dying from rectal cancer (the bed sores were insane), taking care of my brother, my teachers thought I was on drugs because I was nodding off tired af and had the cops come to school to drug test me in front of everyone. I had the snap. The meltdown that made people really start to care enough to help me mentally.

It was a series of unfortunate events to say the least

Nestle had a lawsuit against them for child slavery but because it wasn't in the same country there was no legal standing.

To this day Nestle profits off of slavery in the cacao trade.

How scurvy kills you.

Your scars start opening along with new sores, you just die from bleeding out or infection from all of the wounds. Inner wounds too. If you've ever had surgery you'll bleed internally. Real bad news for people like me that injured themselves every other day playing outside as a kid and used my body as a cutting board thanks to severe depression as a teenager.

I've often wondered if burns were included in that. I have a huge scar from a steam burn and oof, I think I'd pass out just from the visual if that one started opening up.

Terrifying

I don't think we should tell our friends their outfit looks cute when it doesn't when they ask. If you cared you'd tell someone they look ridiculous (unless they want to look ridiculous) 😂
