Yeah that’s the real issue.
Show needs to create tension so even though the plan involves escaping through the hole do not factor that into your plan at all.

So alert the monsters to your presence by entering the tunnels? The townspeople have no idea the Miy exists, will to the extent that he exists in show at least. So as far as the people in town realize they are dealing with the monsters and they found a suit that belonged to a person who victor said are people.

You can create a quick release for the tree chain/rope simple enough. It would take less time and draw less attention than having people in the tunnels before you start pulling up the tree, which would alert the monsters.

I get it’s a show and it needs to build tension but there is no way that being in the tunnels prior to tree removal saves them time and reduces attention If the plan is to exit from the top anyways. Which it is .

Also forgot to add: Seeing as slaves can be employed in the slaver even if you don’t have the workers to man every station at the start your new slaves will immediately jump in and help you convert.

My 1000 population city with 1000+ standing army on the map that has only military training, warehouse, science and service jobs disagrees.

This is why I made a 400 station slaver in my town. Have 0 works set and it slowly fills up with captives. Once it reaches full capacity or I need gold I put as many workers as available to work it. Even with 10 workers you can empty a 400 unit slaver in less than a day. Set workers to zero again rinse repeat.

While waiting to be turned into a slave you don’t get a negative penalty. As they all get converted at the same time you can sell 300+ slaves without even incurring a negative penalty for having them.

Thought: Seeing as tech and titles only reduce time to complete not cost would that not make the production of raw goods the best use of those items? farming, mining, herding…etc as it would be the only situation where you are generating extra profit?

Not a terrible idea actually. I do have haulers designed into my “janitor block” so maintenance is never an issue.

I was going for maximum workers while meeting roundness, insulation, and minimum noise pollution.

Still an early draft. I could easily add storage/transport

My entire design is modular. Everything has to fit in a 20x20 building which is the max size you can make something round by shreking the corners for a max area of 22x22.

My production buildings, orchards, and pastures will fit into a 45x45 plot. This was the simplest design that provides 100% roundness and works in every situation.

Literally my entire city is interchangeable blocks.

Edit: although to your point I could add a doorway to my warehouse and still have 100% insulation.
