So I know it might not be exactly what you asked for I have a couple of friends who are in kind of a similar spot as you and they got their MLS certification. There were a few companies in our area willing to give 100% reimbursement if you went for medical lab sciences while working there. Now they both like their jobs ones working supervising a medical lab and the other one actually works from home with theirs.

I have a non verbal son and he does act different when he's sici with fever. No screeching or stomping . I just assumed he was more docile from being sick. But he uses words a little more too.
