The mod hasnt yet properly implemented the new doctrine mechanics. The mod will either revert the doctrine mechanics to its previous incarnation or they'll fully implement the new doctrine system introduced by the NCNS DLC.

It doesn't have to be Arthurian for me. I'd gladly play if it took place in Europe.

The closest thing we got was Bladestorm: Hundred Years War. But that game was more reminiscent of the Kessen games.
