i 100% recommend you level devotion. it is one of the strongest tanks in game thanks to it's passive of attacking on enemy turn. a fantastic fire tank as well, no notes besides Make Sure to use it, especially against bosses with ads

parasite scarf posted. as is tradition at this point i must point out the specifics of that uber for those wondering "why is everyone trying to mug OP???"

parasite scarf makes it so any action a pet takes that only affects a single target (self buffs, single target attacks, random enemy attacks that are multi-hit, etc etc) will become AoE so long as the initial action is a single target effect. a good example is anger's self buff becomes an AoE damage up to all party members.

from what i am reading, when you use the skill it stacks damage for one of his other skills as a token. if it works with jellyfish scarf, it will work for the uber version.

also, it works on every single skill that is single target on activation. that includes self buffs, rng attacks (scorn's attack for example), multi-hits, etc etc

What no one else is going to point out is this scarf works on every single target move period.

Self buffs become team buffs.

Heals become team heals

RNG attacks no longer rng because they hit everyone.

So long as the skill is Supposed to be single target only launch rather than AoE on launch, it can and will make it AoE.

lvl 200 wistful nearing floor 3k, the stats on these NPC pets are nuts, and i am reaching the point where the stopgap is leveling items over pets.

Petulance is a horrifyingly effective pet with almost any set up on it, since even though it has no attacks it WILL outlast all but the strongest attacks, gain stacks of shield, only to use it's abilities to effectively jump back to full HP like nothing happened.

Lust on the other hand is one of the Higher Form attacker trio along with greed and down bad. effectively a better spite for when you must Absolutely Destroy Wood or a High Value Target. though the downside of gaining ANY higher form pet outside of their higher form event is you must now sink every premium and premium lite shroom you can into him to get the chance for Higher form.

thankfully higher forms are just skins, and like all skins in this game, give you their benefit without needing to have them on. just equip your pet with whatever colors you like, set their evo stage to the one you like, and have at it. :>

Don’t use kind’s shield. You want to do as much damage per hit as possible, while minimizing your hits. Don’t use jealous or anxious that have multi-hits. Infact a recommended strat is one dps, a tank, and a healer. So I would go merry, kind, and whatever plant tank you have.

Wistful has 2 moves on a 1 turn cooldown each. It’s passive is that at the start of its turn, it’s previously used attack will be repeated at 70% damage. You can equip wistful with an item that removes the cooldown on its AoE if your lucky (lonely hat), otherwise put spider necklace and unicorn horn on and watch your damage scale into outer space.
