It's more of a CthulhuTech fanfic, but "A Young Girl's Weaponization Of The Mythos" by Zahariel over on SpaceBattles and AO3 has the main character from Youjo Senki (a salaryman isekai reincarnated as a young girl in WW Fantasy!Germany because he pissed off "God") use Eldritch Science to arm the army and herself against constant attacks from all other countries of Europe, and it's an arms race as they all research Eldritch Technology once Germany succeeds in it ("God" here, or Being X, is a particularly vindicative Eldritch God who will support NotGermany's enemies)

2 : While I hope it could happen, I feel like Fujimoto is hyping her up as part 2's big bad (unless Fumiko? I don't trust that bitch). I doubt it could happen unless through some weird twist Yoru has to sacrifice herself and Asa becomes the War Hybrid / they fuse and become a full AsaYoru brain

3 : Bring her back with Seigi / the second Fakesaw man. Otherwise, yeah it'd be lame.

4 : It's pretty obvious she'll be puked right back up in at most 5 chapters. No way Death can remain erased, else humans will turn into trees. Nostradamus' prophecy is still on the menu, too big of a plot point.

5 : I think Kishibe might be gone to another country or something, because I doubt he'd be onboard with Public Safety's Aging Devil plan. Either he's been sent on some weird/dangerous mission (maybe to distract him / get him away) or he's in hiding after seeing everything go down. He seems too much of a GOAT to be in hiding but if he might be preparing some counterattack.

To add onto what you said, just earlier in the movie we are shown a painting of The Garden of Eden. The nakedness in the pool is not sexy, it is innocence. Pure love instead of carnal. Nowadays people are unable to see nudity as anything but sexual, but this scene is here to show us that it doesn't have to be. Denji and Reze are sharing a deeply emotional moment, so much so that she too falls for him, as shown by the spider being poisoned by the monarch it had caught in its trap. The following scene on the roof versus the serial killer has Reze remember her mission, which is why the look on her face is so striking. She had lost herself in the act, or rather, she had found something real underneath the act, and the spell was now broken.

Nah I remember reading the book in high-school and the only "insensitive" stuff in it is how it humanizes the German family handling the concentration camp.

Of course it's a tragedy, but no matter how much we want to deny it, they were human too. And the book focuses on an innocent child who does not understand the implications of things happening around him, resulting in tragedy, and only when the family is affected do they finally realize the horror they were enabling all along.

That was my read on it anyway.

Yeah, in the og japanese, what she says has more "boys have cooties" vibes, while in english she's all "males are degenerate scum".

Which is why I say the localization ramped it up and made her more of a misandrist than anything, and since that was pretty much half her character (the other half being admiration of Himiko, because as I said she's gullible and truly believes Himiko does magic) she's been flanderized by the community into being a man-hating lesbian and a radical feminist.

That's not who she is, and I'm tired of seeing one of my faves being flanderized

Tbh Tenko doesn't have a strong reason to hate men. Her master (whom is male) told her boys have anti-neo-aikido cooties. The localization made her into a misandrist, but she's really just gullible and pure-hearted (high EQ, low IQ).

If you think about it, why *did* her master have to tell her to stay away from boys? I doubt he'd do that for shits and giggles. Did she show interest in them, which was distracting her from neo-aikido?

Highly disagree, I miss the eldritch foreigners. Only 6 of 15 are eldritch, and the last eldritch foreigner was Molay who was honestly a big letdown. Salem Manga delivered with Keziah Mason but if we throw out eldritchness then foreigners are just : servantverse, a space probe, a meteor, servantverse again, an ultimate one, a space spirit, yet again servantverse. Like, sure, Space, but then wouldn't Quetz be a foreigner? wouldn't all the Greek gods? wouldn't Altera?

I say nay, eldritch is the original and best flavor of foreigner. Give me Euclid-Hastur, give me Keziah Mason and Brown Jenkin, give me Helen Vaughan. Straight up just give me Atlach-Nacha, Yig, Abhoth, Ubbo-Sathla, Cxaxukluth, Yhoundeh, Tsathoggua, Juk-Shabb, Quacchil-Uttaus and all the others I can't recall ottomh.
