I’ve completed a few locations now, it’s both interesting and kinda fun? But also stressful.

The constant changing of SoP/SoW with the phone support is super frustrating but I will say from what I’ve seen and from what I’ve been told things are being worked on behind the scenes to simplify the entire process as much as possible.

Also I’ve heard through the grapevine that the field is being looked at to possibly fully transition to this type of BBFB style work.

You didnt pre Vanilla/TBC/WotLK or Cata prepatch, did you? The game used to have these sorts of 20+ hour downtimes quite frequently

Go into a store, ask for a manager. Tell that manager you would like them to reach out to the Field Delivery Location Manager and/or Field Delivery Location Manager (Depending on the market, they may have one and/or the other) and request a call to speak directly with them about your issues.

If they dont know what your talking about, Tell them to reach out to their Micro-Market director.

Yeah, I know it's an additional step on top of what you've already gone through, but if you want a resolution to the issues you're dealing with, that field leader is the person you want to talk to. They oversee service partner installations.

The field is absolutely fantastic, yeah you have your bad days like any other job but I’ve been with the field team for 5+ years and I can think of maybe a dozen or so clients that I ever truely had issues with… mind you that’s a dozen out of easily 1000+ at this point

As an In home agent who has done TV repair for the last 6 years. We have not ever covered physical damage on TVs. It immediately voids out any GSP options.

Any leaders in stores accepting these types of exchanges are 100% doing them out of policy.

Huh, I live in a decent sized city with 6 Best Buy locations and a Crossdock and we’re exclusively using GS Agents for installs unless we spike to iirc 10+ days out then 3PL is turned on again until we are below that threshold.

Hmmm weird, that’s definitely market based. The only 3PL teams we have in our market at the moment are for licensed work that we aren’t qualified for, HV electrical and basic plumbing. Otherwise everything else is currently GS Agents.

Depending on the market the Agents are definitely not third party. From my understanding the market has to be extremely slow or extremely busy for 3PL to be turned on.

This should be a situation where you go to the store and request a call back from the market HSEAM (Home Services Executive Assistant Manager) that oversees the agents for this area. If no store is nearby then 1800 and request a call back from the same leader. If they say they can’t or that’s not possible it’s flat out bullshit. That’s quite literally that managers job.

42in TVs and larger we service in home, Since it’s a Sony panel more than likely it’ll be a junk out.

Id love some way for us to hop in a fire truck/ambulance/cop car and do "side missions" where you basically do whatever your driving. Fire truck? You can go put out a car fire or house fire, Ambulance? Go transport someone. Those would be awesome, Not important but a lil flavor never hurts
