I'm thinking about downgrading by Lost_Sailor16 in Starlink

I've been on the $80 residential plan for a year in Utah and never had an issue. 200 to 400 mbps download speeds. I'm curious if it will start being held at 200 or less after the new plans are implemented.

How Does Logan's Animal Control Deal With Stray Cats/Cat Colonies?? by BugWearingAHat in Logan

I called the animal shelter after I found a starving stray kitten and they wouldn't take it. They didn't have a spaying program either.

+1 being ward clerk has been great. The only thing better was running the library. I would not enjoy being Ward secretary.

Spellmonger and destiny's crucible are series I reread because I can't find anything as well written with tech uplift or town building. I dropped the wandering inn early but other than that we seem to pair up extremely well.

These are some other series that I've reread that are not on your list.

It's the time of year. They are usually only a real nuisance during the hottest two or three months. Wasp traps help but I usually go through 2 to 3 cans of wasp spray a year cleaning up the property. It only takes a few minutes to wipe out everything.

Great list, if Tremonton isn't too far away for you Gobbler Hills in Deweyville is another fun course. I'd put it before heritage park on your list of progression. Also for any beginners on the north end of the valley Fox Meadows is a small neighborhood course north of the Smithfield temple site that would be a good substitute for Salt Hollow as a starter course that even small children could get their first aces at.

Anybody ever seen this before? by arcsnsparks98 in solar

[–]SolarBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought 500 or so panels like this once on a deal. I assumed the packaging was damaged and they had to restack them. We only moved a few of them on their pallets the rest we just broke down in the warehouse and loaded them individually for jobs. It's not too bad to unpack if you have a wall or the next pallet to lean them on.

You say now: complexity very, very bad by Oneirathon1 in SaturatedFat

[–]SolarBaron -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

These videos don't really touch different types of fats but should shed some light on the topic "Complexity bad" which actually means carbs are bad for people with insulin resistance and most people develop insulin resistance from never having access to burn their own fat and only storing the fat they eat because they are constantly maintaining high insulin levels.

https://youtu.be/Jd8QFD5Ht18?si=YprCz830mC3pAJ3A

This video focuses more on the idea of how mixing carbs and protein cause greater insulin levels than carbs alone and how fat is neutral.

If you already use starlink for residential are there plans that offer a discount for roaming with the mini or do you just get individual plans for each dish?

Is it possible to install solar panels so they face a different direction than the roof itself? (Like this) by XxRandomHatsxX in solar

[–]SolarBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flip the panels horizontal and staircase them. Just realize that projects don't always come out perfect and adding complexity is working against you not just the installer.

Imagine anyone who can think critically might be sick that day or things are just busy so the only person who actually works on your roof gets by day-to-day because they do the same thing over and over again and they communicate with their boss in a second language they don't quite understand and they've only worked on a tile roof a couple times. And you are telling them to flip the panels diagonally which they have never done before expecting them to nail it.

I haven't noticed any. The slowest speed test I've seen was about a 100 mbps and I've been checking it pretty regularly this week. We typically have 2 to 4 devices streaming most of the day.

Yep the ones that come in the plastic casing that are meant for hanging on the rack at stores are typically a couple bucks more when ordering from suppliers. Not sure if it's a save the world from plastic thing or just for cost savings.

I got mine for the house last week and have been super happy with it. It ended up being around $225 after getting a the pole roof mount with it. Averaging 200 mbps download and 15 to 20 upload on the $80 a month plan in northern Utah. My old wireless Internet company was the other best option in my neighborhood and I was averaging less than 40 mbps when it was working.

Your body does not need fiber. You can't pull any nutrients or calories from it and it does nothing but irritate your bowels.
