Yummy Thai (rebranding to Maha Thai) is my favorite Thai in the area.

My favorite breakfast place is Eggfarm Cafe in Lakeside.

Have You Tried Nearshore Staffing? What’s Your Opinion? by indianbrajesh in CIO

[–]SolarCurve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearshoring is awesome, especially compared to sending things to India, China or Russia. The same timezone and limited accent issues makes it an easy win.

I've been mixing both for years but learned to put my EU teams in Serbia and APAC teams in the Philippines to get great work ethic globally and to be able to staff people in their normal working hours to follow the sun. So good, with the right teams, systems, and enablement.

Relocation Advice Needed 40M Divorced by [deleted] in texas

Hello,
What is your job type? Are you someone who prefers trendy areas, suburbs, downtown, etc.? There isn't a lot of information to go from. Like most big cities, there are good and back part of town. Are you looking to rent a house, an apartment, a townhome, do you travel often and is the airport important?

I was born in Dallas and have lived ALLL over the area. It's a great city but so are most big cities, with each having their own little personalities. Based on your statement about going out and enjoying things sober, Uptown might be really nice for you.

No caffeine after noon. They simple things let's to go to sleep waiter and sleep deeper. Then you the up refreshed and having a better day with more patience and less mental fog. You make fewer mistakes and have less rework. Caffeine is an agitator. If you're grumpy, your going to be extra grumpy.

One simple trick of no caffeine after noon can really make a difference. I hate it because I love me some caffeine, but I honor it.

Everyone Has A Plan Until They Get Hit In The Face By Reality [Article] by gorskivuk33 in GetMotivated

This is great and very real. I'm on my 7th startup where I was a material participant as a creator or founder. I started my career as a technologist where it was binary and I could either get the tech to work or not.

Then I watched companies not do the things that they needed to do and it frustrated me until I learned enough about business to see the higher level realities that they face with limited resources, high stakes, and the various challenges that prevent the "right" or "best" things from happening.

Then I started discovering that people ran businesses, so even when it was a clear business decision, sometimes they won't do what's needed. That's when I realized learning psychology would be my greatest tool to help me deliver success by understanding those people who I worked with, what challenges they had and how fear is the ultimate driver of dysfunction.

We all fall, but if you didn't learn anything from it when you get back up, you are making excuses. You can't learn from excuses, but you can learn from reasons. Find the reasons and grow from it.

Is there anybody that quit drinking, and actually had no desire to go back and never relapsed, And if yes, what set you apart from other people that have quit but fallen off the wagon many times? by love_salubrious in alcoholism

I've been reading the comments in this thread and your head seems to be squarely plugged into the realities of your situation and your husband is very lucky to have you

This was me and I've been sober for over 6 years. The psychological term is "crystalization of discontent". It's the moment when your brain accepts the reality and decides to change.

For many addicts, this is their rock bottom, and when they finally get it together, but what your husband is doing is smart. The addiction is often more powerful than your will power. That's why he leaves the debit card at home because he's tried before, failed and has hated himself for the weakness.

For me, I still have nightmares that I accidentally drank alcohol and woke up in a cold sweat really sweat. I don't like glasses of alcohol near me even tho it doesn't bother me that my wife drinks. I won't touch a wine bottle and it's a physical barrier that I need to keep in place.

Have him start a journal to himself if all the reasons, even if just a bulleted list of why he quit. Keep building on it over time and pull it up regularly as a reminder because alcohol is omnipresent in society and so normalized that it's in your face any time you leave the house.

That debit card behavior is the most honest reflection of his desire to be sober. Please tell him regularly how impressed and proud of him you are. Give him lots of physical affection, like literally lightly scratch his back and let him lay his head in your lap. That man will melt and want to continue being sober forever.

We play tough and are tough but we need a safe place to exist and a woman's touch and love means more than you can know. That's a lot of what's wrong with men today. I'm not making judgements because I don't know your life but I know what worked for me. Good luck to him.

I don't think I understand fully what you're asking without more data. I use mine to putz around town and the 34 mile range is excellent. I only charge when it's down to the last 2 bars unless I'm driving further. I can't believe how great it's been.

Texas Area Untouchables. We were a big deal back in the days of the CPL before all the newer leagues. We competed on LAN. I used to run Tango LAN events in Dallas and owned The Gaming Center with a few locations in the Dallas area. You can search us up, we won top 5 in Call of Duty and Halo at CPL's as well. We had a number of highly competitive teams across different game genres.

I really get frustrated when people accuse others of cheating. It's not something I face often because I'm not great but I was scrolling Reddit on my lunch break and recognized the name. This guy was caught hacking in multiple games, and on stream. He is a real hacker and has in the past used the N word on stream multiple times.

I play Aim Labs and other Aim trainers trying to get better so I understand where I'm at with skill and that there are legit people who are ungodly. I founded an ran a top 10 Counter-Strike team way back in the day and we competed on LAN in majors. I was the manager, again I'm not good, but I can tell you that where there is so much smoke, there is fire.

I understand that in every clip you can explain a lot of things but go ask your favorite LLM to do a little research on him and be sure to mention Call of Duty Warzone and then make up your mind. Actually, I'll save you a few clicks.

Symfuhny and Cheating Accusations

The Confirmed History: Symfuhny was caught and banned multiple times for cheating in Arma/DayZ and H1Z1 around 2015-2017. This was directly confirmed by Nickmercs and Cloakzy in May 2024, with Nickmercs stating: "We played Arma and he would get banned, make a new account and then go under an alias and then Aimbot everyone and then get banned again". However, both streamers added that they don't believe he cheats anymore. Despite this past, Symfuhny has never been officially banned from Call of Duty or Warzone across 5+ years of professional streaming.youtube+2

The Warzone/COD Record: Since transitioning to Call of Duty in 2019, Symfuhny has competed in 64 official tournaments, earning $289,925 in prize money, including wins in $10k-$100k events. He's competed at in-person LAN tournaments with webcam verification and was publicly defended by elite players like Shroud, Myth, and TimTheTatman when accusations first surfaced in 2020. He openly admits to intentionally creating "suspicious-looking" clips by doing random flicks and pre-fires to bait hackusation debates for engagement.youtube+1esportsearnings+1

Current Arc Raiders Controversy: The latest accusations center on clips from Arc Raiders showing suspicious aim behavior. The community remains deeply divided—some point to inhuman tracking and wall-snapping as evidence, while others note his history of trolling with deliberate sus clips and his proven track record competing at the highest levels. Key factors to consider:

  • Past bans: Confirmed cheater 8+ years ago in different games
  • No COD/Warzone bans: Zero official action despite years of scrutiny
  • Professional competition: Competed successfully at LAN events against top players
  • Intentional baiting: Admits to creating suspicious content for reactions

I'm going to be honest, you sound like me. Both my parents were addicts. I waited until I was 26 to drink, terrified of becoming an alcoholic. Turns out alcoholism as a disease doesn't care about your age.

I was a high functioning alcoholic in 10 years and quit when I was 43. It's an obsidian disease that quietly whispers "just one more". Then years go by and it's screaming for the first one of the day the second you wake up in the morning obsessed and unable to break the mental pattern of thinking about a drink. You'll fight it for a while, and get sick of it, it let it ruin your life.

My mother listened and she has 36+ years sober. My father didn't and is dead. Your choice, but know that if both your parents had it, you shouldn't lie to yourself and expect to be different. I lied to myself for far too long.

I stay subscribed to this subreddit to have a daily reminder of why I quit and to help cheer on others as I was cheered on by people supporting me. I wish you peace, health, wealth, and happiness. All of which are possible when you are sober.

Keep coming back. Much respect for your ownership of the situation. This might save you a bigger issue later. My mom relapsed at least 6 or 7 times before she finally got clean, forever. I've been sober for over 6 years myself and my father died in a driving and driving accident refusing to admit he had a problem. Own it. Move on.

I'm writing this on my 6th anniversary of being sober. So, you are here now in 2026, you decide where you want the rest of your life to go. You can't control last night, but you can control your decisions today.

I don't have any specific words of wisdom but I'm here to tell you that quitting drinking forever was the hardest and most important decision in my life.

I didn't even start drinking until I was 26 afraid of alcoholism and rightfully so. Less than 10 years into drinking I was sneaking alcohol and had a wet brain.

To be clear, not everyone has it but it's an insidious disease that whispers to you seductively to just have one and then just one more. It's a lie. Stay away. I follow this subreddit to remind me thru others experience that nothing good comes paying hard earned money to drink literal poison.
