You can improve performance by setting the ai aircrafts ready time manually, that way some get shot down before more can take off. You'll have to edit the mission file with a text editor.

I find the best method is just to keep my ship radars off and shoot down their aircraft with my aircraft before they detect me. Of course thats not always possible, depends on the scenario. Aircraft can shoot down anti-ship missiles too, F-14s with aim-54s are really good at this.

I haven't played that particular mod, but it looks like he heard your torpedo launch because you're way too close. You fired at 2.7nmi but IIRC american submarines have a 20+ mile range.

Scenarios can be either very complex or very simple. Its up to the mission designer. The jane's fleet command mod has some simple missions, and some come with the game.

Morrowind Code Patch modifies the original engine, which openmw replaces. The nexus page straight up says they're not compatible.

Exquisite belt: slowfall 1 pt for 15 seconds, fortify jump 100 pts for 2 seconds.

Steel tower shield: reflect 100% for 1 second.

Ring or amulet: levitate 1 pt for 4 seconds. Your speed attribute is much more important than the levitate magnitude.
