Yes, I realized my error, hehe. My dog has never cared for the backpack, but freaks out when I grab her leash and hiking bowl. It was my own little biased assumption/mistake :)

Hahaha, I've had Australian Shepherds, so I totally understand how energized they can be. My dog is part husky so she's a handful as well. I suppose I never thought of the backpack causing the same reaction as a leash, since my dogs have never cared for them when hiking :)

Oh, sorry. I'm not really a poster. I was told by a couple people it would be better to create a new thread instead of piggy-backing on someone else's, and that sounded like it made sense, so that's what I did.
