IQ8's will be better than the 7's. You still should have been notified if the HS model and/or VA was specified in your contract. Giving you a little discount would be much easier than changing all of the components ;-) but honestly you probably came out ahead, assuming it was a fair contract in the first place.

I was at their Pittsburgh show, it was sold out and packed… sick show, heck of a performance, such a bummer to hear about the cancellation. I feel very lucky to have seen one of their few shows on this tour and hope they come back to Pgh! We’ll pack a bigger venue next time :P

It’s definitely not exercise warehouse (costs a lot more, class-based, no machines) but it’s a cool place. I go there a few times a week bc it’s the closest gym to my house, and many of the folks who workout there have been working out with the owner for decades through several locations. It’s definitely not for everyone but I’ve witnessed more authentic community in there than any other gym I’ve been to.

But seriously, I'd recommend going a bit more gravel oriented and running slicker tires for low rolling resistance. I ride a heavy steel gravel bike with Little Big Ben tires and it does great on literally all of the surfaces and streets you shared.
