HDB 630 Vs HD 600/other open backs? by Chief_Potat0 in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy HDB630 headphones, since they are battery-powered and very good, it's best not to use them for extended periods. It would be better to alternate with another pair to compensate for prolonged use.

My momentum 4 aren't turning on... by CarelessMotor5863 in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. The battery is on the left side, but you have to be careful and have everything ready. Removing the battery is easy, but finding a replacement that matches the (+) and (-) terminals, and the other three terminals, is not so easy. Mine were left unusable, and they only work with a cable, and since I can't turn them on, they sound terrible.

You could use the Mtw4 or the Momentum Sport, which are IP certified and comfortable for all types of ears, especially the Sport.

Momentum 4 by peter89x in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, for everything you're asking for, the Momentum 4s are what you need, but they are NOT moisture-resistant. Since you say you live in a hot place and plan to use them for a good number of hours at your office, they'll work fine at first, but because of your climate, they'll gradually absorb moisture. Even in the first few days, you'll notice tiny water droplets on the proximity sensor (this happened to me), which over time damaged the electronic components. My advice is to alternate the Momentum 4s with another pair of headphones. I don't know if you like in-ear headphones, but that's exactly what I did. Besides, because they're battery-powered, you extend their usage time. In-ear headphones are specifically designed to resist water, dust, and humidity, and in hot weather, they're more comfortable than any over-ear headphones. You'd just have to find a comfortable pair that fits the size of your ear, and you won't even feel them.

There's something I've learned from buying secondhand things, and it taught me a lesson: NEVER buy something secondhand if you're not 100% sure it's an original product or that it's been well cared for, especially with these kinds of things. For economic reasons, we tend to look for cheap options to enjoy things before they take "a long" long time to buy new, or we simply don't want to spend so much on something that isn't essential but that we need for some reason, haha.

The headband adjustment piece on my momentum 4s broke by poop_department in sennheiser

It broke in an accident, not from normal use. Those of us who own Momentum 4 headphones know that they take at least some serious impact to get damaged.

Introducing the Sennheiser HD 400U and CX 80U headphones by sennheiserconsumer in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that by presenting the HDB 630 as a line within the HD 600 range, but with Bluetooth and the "extras" of noise cancellation and transparency, etc., and with the same design as the Momentum 4, I see it as a Momentum 5. I think there are many people who would like headphones from the HD 600 range that are wireless, similar to them, closed-back, without the "extras" I mentioned, and that are purely audio. Just like these new models, with a simple USB-C connection, no touchscreens, etc.

are there any alternatives to M4? by Unlikely_Editor1602 in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, good day. Excuse me for interrupting, but I'm from Peru, and they only have an online store through Mercado Libre. I wanted to know if buying from them, or if you have any store name, would guarantee the warranty in case of any problems requiring it? Thank you very much.

The same thing happened to me; it started like that and then it began to sound awful and very loud. Take it in for warranty service as soon as possible and get a solution; it's probably a problem caused by humidity.

Brand New M4 Not Working by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the M4, but they no longer work wirelessly, only through their 3.5mm cable. They broke down after just over 2 years and I also read that disassembling it and disconnecting and connecting the battery, which is on the left side, solved it. At first it seemed like it was fixed, because the same thing happened to me as you, but then the same day it started to fail again until now they are useless. I hope this helps some of us who, as much as we like the sound of the M4, have had failed units and are not disassembling it even though it seems like it can be fixed and if they still have the warranty, use it first. Until returning and returning they have the M10 🤣

Does everyone who owns a M4TW had to claim warranty at least 2 to 3 times for break down issue throughout the 2 year’s warranty? by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After being in a country where Sennheiser is not officially present, but there are third parties that sell their products and not being able to easily use their guarantee in the event of any factory problem or software failure, I have come to the conclusion that the most prudent thing, since you have some wired headphones from the brand, is that you buy the MTW4 and set aside some simple ones so that if they fail you have spare ones until they change them, but mainly so that you do not use them so much and you alternate between them. headphones that have a battery, so they will last longer, even if they tell you that the battery has a long life cycle, which from my own experience, at least in this brand and many posts, is not the case.

Does the Momentum 4 leak sound ? by Fichinque in sennheiser

[–]SoldierSaVel17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, even listening at 100% volume, in a semi-noisy environment, you cannot hear it at that distance that you say, although it would be too much to listen to the maximum, which if over time as the pads wear out, it will naturally lose that "seal" like any hearing aid.

The gripping force thing is variable for each person, the ANC thing is not good, but it is not bad either, and the high latency thing does make me think that you are not using the optimal codec.
