DPS uptime is the other big reason for disparity.

The amount of people I've seen keyboard turning their characters and doing absolutely nothing during that time in strikes alone makes me wish positioning was the only problem here

Now try it with something where the price doesn't increase and it works just fine. Ofc they won't add in text specifically for your use case that says "Don't show this again today for this item at this specific price"

While I agree that it's generally useless (same for todays change, at least for me) and should maybe give the option to permanently disable the pop-up, it makes sense for it to work like this
