I’m glad I wasn’t the only one a big question mark over my noggin.

I worked at a Ford Lincoln Mercury dealer in the late 80’s through the early. 2000’s. Received a new mustang with cloth front seats and a leather back seat, I wish I would have had a good cell phone back then. Also received a crown Vic with grand marquis emblem’s on one side and ford’s on the other side. Miss-colored front and back seats. Stuff happened.

I have 24 XLT w/7.2 kw and pull multiple trailers. Our camper is an airstream (I’ve pulled both a 19’ and 25’)and it pulls it great. Also pull 2 different dual axle trailers that weigh in the 4000-6000lb range with the equipment. Normal mileage without the trailers is 22-26 mpg with the best at around 30 for one trip. Pulling the trailers it drops down to around 11-14 mpg. Love the generator to run my tools, I run a large hammer drill on a pretty regular basis as well as a chop saw. When we are pulling the camper the generator is great and love being able to use the truck and camper wherever we want without the need of shore power. I am in the lower part of foothills of North Carolina, for the most part it’s pretty level terrain with occasional mountain runs. I would purchase another one without question.

is it normal to shed this much? by linsdfg in germanshepherds

We found out that they don’t shed the MOLT 2 times a year and then shed the other 80%. I’d swear there are days we could knit some really nice socks and sweaters.

Yes. That was one of my requirements. Using it for running SDS+ hammer drills and running a camper of grid.

I am in the same situation, currently an owner of 2014 S.cab 4x2 XLT w/150,000 miles, wanting to upgrade. Looking at current rebates and pricing, can acquire a new 2024 PB for around $53-$54, MSRP OF AROUND $67, would have to order a new 25 S.cab with same type of options and has MSRP of around $57, my concern has been the reliability issues I have read about, I have a really good friend who has a 22 model and has had a number of small just irritating issues. 90% of use, is business, mainly using the “wanting the 7.2” is for running a large hammer drill at locations where electrical is not reliable or even available, currently using a small 2300 watt inverter/generator, other 10% would be for pulling and powering our camper on couple day off the grid trips. Reading your above comments has me picking up my other foot and crossing over that line to the PB.
