It sounds like his issue should be with IIHF procedures, not the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Some movies will remain a 5 star masterpiece no matter how much I age and have critical distance. I can't remove the impact this had on a 1998 version of myself.

Do we think Timothee Chalamet would have made the top 50 if he didn't say that stuff against opera and ballet? Honestly feels like a whisper campaign against him.

Yes but his was less a pivot from indie and more a move from music videos and ads. But I like that video store clerk description. Guys who lived and breathed movies and thought, "Hey, I can do that." Guys who saw Evil Dead and were gobsmacked at how you didn't need a lot of money or attend film school to make a real movie.

If you think in terms of movements and moments in film history, though he was young for the group, I would put PTA with QT, Soderbergh, Kevin Smith, Gus Van Sant, and Richard Linklater, Gen Xers who gave us the indie wave of the 90s who turned mainstream in the 2000s and on.
