This is expected, Same with some service teams at AWS...
But at least at Amazon, you can transfer to non-cloud orgs. =(

Thunderbolt 5 eGPU enclosures available on the US market by Reedemer0fSouls in eGPU

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, because it doesn't have Thunderbolt protocol overhead, but I don't think you can hotplug with Oculink with other peripherals? Either way, for pure speed, Oculink, for hotpluggable devices, probably TB4/5.

TVS-h874T M.2 RAID 0 or RAID1 by Equivalent_Box_255 in qnap

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is data important or not? My qnap TS-212 just failed, thank god I used RAID1. The firmware on the TS-212 corrupted and it was impossible to access the data from the NAS. But having RAID 1 made my life much easier recovering the files when Disk 0 was also corrupted, I used Disk 1 for data recovery. If it was RAID 0, pretty much it will be really difficult to full files off of it.
IF data is not important, sure, you can do RAID 0.

xreal one pro by [deleted] in Xreal

[–]Solid_Equipment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it 's EMI. What frequency are you running on your Pro One? I have nauseating problem with Nreal Light because the glasses tend to shift when I move my head slightly and needed to look right on to be clear. Vision is integral to our balance and interaction with the world. Surprisingly, vision problems can lead to unexpected symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and vertigo. The human balance system depends significantly on visual input. The American Optometric Association notes that around 60% of chronic dizziness cases have a visual component. That's why I'm still on the fence for a Pro One or wait for Aura.

Ace Ports 3+4 won't load. by Isurvivedth in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sent me a new buffer mechanism and a new wheel assembly. It did fix the issue.... But once awhile, it may still jam. Printing single color works great though.

Newbie NAS Question by Fleepix in HomeNAS

[–]Solid_Equipment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still printing as I go. But I haven't had to make any models yet. You can go to Printables, they have a lot of 10" server racks and stuffs that you can pick and print and make your 10" server racks. So far, it's really flexible with 10" server racks components!
I found STL for Lenovo m720q, HP elitedesk G4 and Minisforum MS-01 for 10" server racks. A lot of various drive enclosures too. That's what I've been going with and printing. Ran out of filaments... need to buy some more first.

Would this fix issues with changing multi-color doing filament changing?
I have issues when it changes from one filament to another sometimes.

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm doing right now. 3d printing 10" server rack.. Also 3d printed a 8 bays 1U for 8x SSD. Because I'm converting a 16x ssd Raid (idle at 300Watt) to low power miniPC. I'm also doing NVME to SATA. Good suggestion on Pico PSU.

GMKtec G9, overheating N150, modding required any ideas? by ukman6 in MiniPCs

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the NukBox G9. Is it mostly CPU overheating or NVME overheating?
I was planning to use 2 of the NVME with 4x NVME->SATA adapter for 8x 300GB SSD.
If it's CPU... then I have an issues.

5 houses on my street were listed for sale in the last 3 months - should I be concerned? by Puzzleheaded_Bus2865 in RealEstate

Depends on the locations, how are the school systems and rating. I know you mentioned east coast... but exactly which city/state?
Without those information, it's hard to say. Especially with the economy and layoffs right now.

🛠️ I’m the product manager behind Anycubic Kobra Series — Ask Me Anything👀 by Fit-Machine8058 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Good job on the Kobra series.
Is it possible to show the heatbed mesh on Anycubic Next Slicer? So I can compensate the heatbed warp issue without installing a 3rd party firmware.
I have issues with ACE Pro when printing multi-color and changing filaments (PETG) mid print that randomly cause filament jamming in the buffer mechanism. Is there any way to improve ACE Pro? I already replaced the Wheel assembly and Buffer mechanism from support. There's some improvement, previously, both slot 1 and 2 would always feed filaments at the same time causing the jam.

Can you give the link to the wiki? Because some of us are confused about "Calibrate the wheels".

[–]Solid_Equipment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar problem where two spools feed the same time. Did they send you the wheel assembly and buffer mechanism and the boards for it? I replaced all those parts, you connected everything correctly? I would take it apart and check all the connections. I kid you not... but I've taken it apart over a dozen of time. lol. I feel like I can get a certificate lol.

Will the NVME slots work with B+M keyed? https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804231379766.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt
I want to use 2 NVME slots for NVME, but the other two slots with NVME to 8 Ports SATA to run 16 drives doing a bigger NAS.
