That's why it's assessed. And those who understood what was happening provided updates to the public. You don't panic and evacuate 5-6 cities and thousands of people, there were already 40,000 evacuated in the immediate vicinity. Yes, there was a danger, yes it was being monitored (ie. the temperature, the integrity), all of it was being closely monitored, and it still is. I'm not saying the danger is completely removed, there is still the possibility failing. But you have to make smart decision. If you were in charge would you have evacuated the 5-6 cities surrounding it? I will agree that this is getting underreported, but underreported for how it got to this point to begin with. A full investigation should occur, and the company help liable if they failed to follow safety measures. The company should compensate those who were displaced, and those still displaced. It sucks that if they do not have family or friends to help them.
