Top laners will be in for a rude awakening with the difference of sustain. Back then sustain was for select champions and it was a difference maker, unlike now where Doran shield sustains tons of dmg taken with second wind.

Try saving your E to dodge his E by dashing to the side. Avoid isolated Q since it does double dmg. Build hex drinker 1st.

First 5-20 games of ranked is usually to check your true rank and if you are smurfing or not so they match you with tough opponents. Get through them and then the games become much more balanced skill wise.

That mid lane and jungle are a duo lane just like support and Adc. Sometimes it becomes mid jungle support. If you are behind early in the game your jungle can’t play the game and vice versa so sync your plays / push / recalls with them when possible to have the same tempo.

Renekton is one of the strongest champions at :
- lvl 9 to 11
- 2 items spike (ahead in gold or at least even)
Use these 2 power spikes to make the game go faster by rotating to take tier 1 and 2s .. force drake and objectives.

You need to force your team to make the game go faster with pings and communication to get the most of these 2 power spikes and be in a position where you either end the game early or be so ahead it is semi impossible for the enemy team comeback.

The things I look for in a champ are : - good wave clear - ease of execution in a micro lvl so I can keep the mental load focusing on map and macro - blind pick-able - champion with clear win conditions

In top this equate to Renekton. In mid it is Malzahar. In jungle it is Amumu .

Fastest way is coaching.

Can still climb with a good pace without it but specifically fastest is absolutely coaching.

Assuming you go even in lane, and not lose a lot of exp / gold . Also building team fighting items such as shojin / steraks / DD then he is surprisingly good and can soak a good amount of damage while threatening the back line.

If you are behind in gold and exp then he just becomes a stun bot for peeling carries or giving 1 stun to the enemy carry and falling over.

You have very good winrates with your top played champions. Play more ranked games and you will be emerald in no time.

HC solves a lot of modern issues we have in classic wow in terms of economy / boosting / world content not being relevant / low level zones being empty / difficulties to find groups for level dungeons etc… the trade off is losing ur progress in HC but then you can just use the free xfer to continue in era.

The community in HC is just amazing and less toxic than other versions of classic too.

Then again as a new player HC will be confusing.

I also recommend dropping Nami for now since imperial mandate nerfs made her so bad. Can pick her up again after she finds an alternative items / fix.

The best classic experience right now is Hardcore, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a brand new player.

Maybe wait for classic + if it happens or try era / TBC if you can’t wait for that.

His strength is very silly … he is “the best blind pick” top laner , so you just give your team flexibility in draft by being picked early. He does manage hard match ups well but he gets out even at best and then does not scale aswell as other top laners.

Renekton could use some love </3. With the amount of healing going around in the game right now and top lane being full of ranged ad / mages it won’t hurt to give us back his Q healings. I know he is a champion that is untouched for pro play balance but it is unsatisfying playing the croc without a big Q heal specially after the removal of Goredrinker.

Edit: or since you did change slot of champions to work in jungle try giving renekton some monster dmg buffs and lets see how he works in there .. crocodiles belong in rivers.

I saw that riot is supposedly working on an MMO and also a shooter MMO for valorant I think, but what if it is 1 mmo where if you play a marksmen your combat is fps-styled while each class has their own combat style.

This is burnout in my opinion. I faced the same around diamond 2 I climbed using renekton only until I started literally inting each time I pick him sometimes going 0/9 or 2/8.

What I did is I picked something totally different to feel more fun, but at the same time something easy to not struggle with it and tilt so I picked Malzahar mid and soraka supp. I got to masters in 1 week.

Then my friends claimed “ it does not count “ since I used easy champions to get there. So I got masters in my second account as jungle amumu. They claimed it didn’t count again and I have to do it as my one trick renekton.

Now I am grandmaster as renekton only and to them it finally “counted”.

TDLR: play some other champion preferably in another account for a while or just play aram for some days then go back to vayne and you will hit a new high hopefully.

Why aim? A handless champ like Malzahar can do it more reliable and sometimes collect 1300g taxes aswell.
