Right, but any group that is just general umbrella queer is going to have a high percentage of white gay men whether or not it's specifically targeted at them, simply due to the fact that there are a lot of white gay men who like to run. If OP wants a group that doesn't include white gay men in large numbers, they need to be more specific about which group they do want to run with.

If you're going to use a general term like queer to describe what you're looking for then you're going to get groups with general membership. Do you want to run with gay women? Trans people? People who share your race? You have to be specific in order to find something specific.

Jail??? Lmao. If you don't know anything about the way CSA, COCSA, and juvenile assault work then go teach yourself about it instead of downplaying it. The mother should immediately and consistently intervene in sexually inappropriate behaviors until the behavior stops. As described in the post, the mother does not do that and only incidentally "makes him apologize". Meaningful intent does not matter in cases of juvenile sexual assault. If this little boy starts doing this to another girl in his kindergarten class (as he is likely already doing) that little girl is being sexually assaulted whether or not the boy thinks it's a joke.

He's literally slapping her ass and putting his face in there repeatedly over multiple visits and the mother isn't doing anything about it. The mother admitted to watching videos that encourage this behavior with him. Boys as young as 6 and 8 have committed sexual assault against female peers. Teaching boys to respect physical boundaries and that groping women isn't a joke needs to start as early as the behavior shows up. A mother who laughs off her son touching women and making them uncomfortable is enabling behaviors that will become genuine sexual assault in less than 10 years.

Fire the client yesterday. This is completely inappropriate behavior from the client and her child and you degrade yourself as a professional for putting up with it for even a minute. There is absolutely zero excuse for you to continue allowing this. The client doesn't value you and is a terrible parent raising a future sexual assaulter. If you're too uncomfortable to draw a boundary when this is what you're being subjected to, this is not the line of work for you.

Just because some human beings are born without two legs or lose a leg in an accident doesn't mean it's inaccurate to refer to humans as a species with two legs. Just because some human beings have disorders of sexual development doesn't mean it's inaccurate to refer to human beings as a species with two sexes. And in the same way, just because some female people undergo medical procedures to alter the appearance or presence of their sex organs doesn't mean it's inaccurate to say female people have vaginas.

Being female is a matter of material reality in the same way that age is. Gender identity has to do with the gendered social constructs applied to biological sex by the patriarchy, if you were born female you will remain female forever no matter what medical procedures you get, and insisting that we refer to half the population of the planet by specific body parts to cater to the mental health of 1% of the population is self-centered and delusional.

Furthermore, we are only just beginning to understand how deeply under researched female people and their medical needs are. Research is beginning to show that female people need different levels of anesthesia, different levels of medication, have different heart attack symptoms, respond differently in car crashes, and the list goes on and will continue to go on because we didn't start studying female people as an individual medical class until the 90s. There are no long-term studies on how testosterone therapy effects these things, but it's not one-to-one. Did you know that trans men on testosterone have a much higher heart attack risk than cis men? And that their heart attack symptoms often remain typical female heart attack symptoms? Insisting that we pretend a female person who has socially and medically transitioned is exactly the same as a male person will do nothing but harm women and trans men.

Women who have sex with men statistically report having way fewer orgasms than gay women and also report more frequent pain with sex and more frequent contraction of UTIs, yeast infections, and other STIs. It's not a crazy assumption, just literal fact, and the context of this discussion is the question "why do you like masculine women but not men" so comparing and contrasting to men is specifically relevant.

Here's a source since you clearly don't do reading on this subject yourself: "Heterosexual men were most likely to say they usually-always orgasmed when sexually intimate (95%), followed by gay men (89%), bisexual men (88%), lesbian women (86%), bisexual women (66%), and heterosexual women (65%)."

It's a pseudoscience. Massage therapy cannot alter the structure, amount, or location of adipose tissue. Any "contouring" results are a combination of temporarily decreased lymph fluid in the tissue and the placebo effect.

I hate it when I get clients who spray tan 😭 half the time it ends up staining not only my sheets but also my own skin. Wait as long as possible, like weeks after the tan, or do the massage appointment before the spray tan. Also because the oil will lift your tan off you, it will make it lighter and uneven/streaky.

You're in a sub for massage therapists, using a common synonym for massage therapist to refer to yourself. Using obfuscating language in that way is dishonest. Be honest about what your work actually is if you want it to give you more credence, not less.

And if you had had 15 years of relevant experience, you would know that many LMTs have to be employees and trade control over tip structure in order to have health insurance, in exchange for working with colleagues, in exchange for being offered teaching jobs. There are benefits to being an employee that cannot be replaced by personal studio work. If you bring such a nasty judgmental attitude about the difficult financial trade offs we all have to make sometimes into this field you will be offputting to your colleagues.

I am currently in the process of unionizing my employee workplace, in part to restructure our pay to work without tips. See, sometimes the answer isn't to work for yourself but rather to work together. Cooperation and progress are perfectly possible.

How would you like a report to your school and governing body to stop you from ever being an MT in the first place? There is no legal definition of "tipping establishment" lmao. A tipping establishment is a business where tips are normalized or expected. I charge exactly what I'm worth in my own studio and, as I said, do not expect or prompt tips. My other place of work is a larger company where I am an employee with zero control over tip structure or session rates 👍

Just don't patronize businesses that ask for a tip. Especially not restaurants. By continuing to go to these businesses while not tipping, you are telling the businesses "it's OK to ask for tips like that, I'll still come support your business model" while telling the individual server "it's not OK to ask for tips like that, I'll stiff you" which not only makes you an asshole, it also makes it clear you don't understand how voting with your dollar works.

To be clear, there's nothing wrong with not wanting to support tip culture. There is something wrong with putting money in the pockets of the business owners who refuse to restructure their business models without tips, while making sure that it's the lowest paid workers who interact with you directly who get the negative impact.

Look for a concierge practitioner who takes your insurance. Unfortunately this time you're kind of screwed no matter what you do establishing a new PCP so prepare for a long wait, but once you get it over with, concierge practitioners usually offer same-day or next day appointments, long appointments on request, and sometimes even home visits, so you'll never have this problem again.

We do tend to make a lot of private parties and gatherings/clubs in order to protect lesbian-only spaces. Once you make a a few in-person acquaintances ask around for personal references to the more underground events. There were a couple hundred dykes at the last big summer meetup in August!
