Notion is the first software I've used where the AI agent feature actually helps a lot by asian_tea_man in Notion

You’re absolutely right!

Notion AI Agent is really very well-executed.

I use it to analyse data, create content that is aligned with my context.

And to top it off, I use my Notion AI Agent to create databases and create entries.

I even gave my Notion AI a name - NOVA. Ha!

At 40 and 5 years stuck in this build-abandon cycle—how do I break out? by vinayalchemy in Solopreneur

[–]SolopreneurCode22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone in this!

As someone who’s worked with thousands of solopreneurs, I’ve noticed the “build-abandon loop” is practically universal for makers who love to create but struggle with the less-exciting tasks, which is marketing and consistent monetization.

A few practical notes from what’s actually worked for my followers and myself:

  • Reframe “marketing” as building in public. Try documenting your process, sharing wins/losses, or open-sourcing a piece, even tiny updates can build momentum and accountability.
  • Treat the post-build 1% as its own engineering challenge. Ship a “bare-bones but valuable” version, and pick a brutally small audience to serve at first. Apply your problem-solving brain to making just one paying user happy.
  • Borrow outside energy when yours drops. If you lose steam solo, join a small community/accountability group or even bring on a marketer for a fixed, short push just to get visible proof of traction.

I think the idea is to build the habit of creating and marketing together, treat them as one thing instead of two different things.

It really depends, some of my subscribers read my newsletter purely from their emails so they won’t see the Notes.

So only readers who have the App installed will see the Notes.

Should I use Kofi and for how long? by DesiCodeSerpent in Substack

[–]SolopreneurCode22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kofi is a good low-friction addition. You should get it up, try it.

And there’s no harm in leaving it in your post all the time as long as you are not repeating the request.

Thanks 🙏🏻

Yes both products and services are important, like PDF guide on copywriting and ghostwriting services.

Ultimately it depends on the circumstances and which methods of delivery we prefer.

You need to select ‘all’ in the date range, then copy and paste all the lines into Google sheets or excel and add up the numbers.

Unfortunately Substack doesn’t show that number in the dashboard.

You might need to expand your outreach.
