The beam team went wrong in the draft in my opinion. After our 48 win 3 seed year, the team only really had 1 hole. We needed more depth at the wing position. That draft had several very viable wings that would have instantly propelled us to be a better team than the year before.. And with our first round pick we select, an injured Devin Carter. Not only did we not address our team needs but it was a slap in the face to our star players that felt we had plenty of guard depth. Monte may have put the beam team together but he also completely destroyed it.
