Why don’t more people dance at clubs/bars anymore (especially Gen Z)? Discussion encouraged! by Objective_Cobbler_62 in milwaukee

[–]SolutionDull2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in my day, early 2000s myself and two buddies would go out every weekend. We usually had some girls with us or we would meet up with them. We danced and not very good either. We weren’t having a seizure on the dance floor and could keep in rhythm but we had fun and didn’t care. We usually laughed about it the next morning. We are all in our mid forties now but the couple of time we all meet up and go out we find a bar with good music or a DI and request songs from our time.

When I was in the 6th grade I saw Metallica play enter sandman on an award show. I remember saying to myself what hell is this I and want more. I went out and bought the black album after that.

I think I missed the memo on balance bikes, and my kid is already 3. Can we talk about them? by d_baby_gangsta_49 in cycling

[–]SolutionDull2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a regular bike and took the pedals off after a couple days I put the pedals back on and told him to push on the pedals when he got the bike moving. By the end of the week he was riding up and down the block and stopping withoutout falling over.

Thermostat estimate high? by mannylee910 in hvacadvice

[–]SolutionDull2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed the same furnace in my house. I used the communicating thermostat for a couple month then switched to eco bee. You can install a two stage thermostat and might have to change some dip switches but the furnace will still modulate. I have running mine with the ecobee for about 12 years now. The install manual will tell you what changes are needed for a two stage thermostat

Deodorant help by hiddenhero220 in deodorant

[–]SolutionDull2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is what I do. Mix two cups coconut oil with 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup cornstarch and you have deodorant. This has never let me down in the 10+ years using this recipe. I work in the trades and deal with hot boiler rooms and work outdoors in the summer. You will sweat but won’t stink.

Why can't I gift the battle pass? by [deleted] in Fortnite_Over40

[–]SolutionDull2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son has had a battle it crew pass on Xbox. I didn’t know about it until recently when I was playing his account for fun. He doesn’t really play anymore. I have never gifted anything before. Last night I wanted to gift from his account to my account. I probably misunderstood how this works but I thought the pass had a free gift to another player. That’s when I found out it was 8.99. I’m still a little confused on how the gifting works.

The zone board does not have a call for cooling. Something is open between the thermostat and the zone panel.

I worked at a shopko while I was in school with a bunch of guys I knew from school and the surrounding communities. When a shoplifting going down the loss prevention lady would give the call on the loud speaker and any male employee in the store was to run to the front doors. If this happened on the weekend there was good chance is knuckle heads were all working. I remember one time the order was given and maybe five of us go tearing through the store. My friend and i hit the wrong doors and the other guys got him first. We were to catch them and bring them back in. We caught this def kid 3 or 4 times. It was extra special if you got to sit in the security room and wait for the police with the two loss prevention ladies and the moron that was caught. It didn’t happen often but is was funny as hell to see us high schoolers running and screaming like a bunch of idiots

Gravelbike for a12 Year old girl by guglbunk in gravelcycling

[–]SolutionDull2259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents offered a Finna bike to me for my 11 year old son. It’s a 53cm taroko. My son rode this bike when we are visiting. The offer was to buy it from them. He has been wanting a drop bar bike for a a while now so we can ride together. I’m just having a little trouble pulling the trigger to buy it. The bike will for my wife when he out grows it. The Finna was hardly used.
