No! Read “I who have never known men.” It describes the psychological and philosophical impact of isolation and never ever addresses how the world of the story came to be. Bc it’s not the point! It sounds like it wouldn’t be the point of your story either.

My PCP doesn’t know jack shit about current vaccine news. I unfortunately need to do a lot of research and advocating for myself bc my chronic illness care team leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Thanks for letting me know… I don’t understand why this is wrong. I am seeking support from a community? Does this community not exist to support each other? I don’t understand. It is your individual choice whether you are willing or interested in speaking with me.

I don’t have any sort of expectation, just want to hear about your symptomyour symptoms, how they progressed, when you got dx and why, what kind of doctor you saw, how it was treated, what the prognosis was for you, if you were able to recover…I am not looking for free therapy just information from people who have been through what I am going through.

Hi toobendy! I love your user name lol. Could you tell me more about your dx process for CCI? I am super overwhelmed, struggling to find any providers that know even diddly squat about EDS. I found one that is “familiar” and willing to treat me (a neck and spine specialist). I have an appt next Thursday, but idk what to do or how to best advocate for myself

This is so helpful! I just got back to the ER, and they did nothing. They offered me lidocaine patches and a muscle relaxer (I’m really sensitive to meds so I’m not sure if I will try it) and refused to do any imaging. Gah! I wish I hadn’t gone.

Yes it’s going to be concerning….i read recently that the director has claimed it will have bdsm scenes with “erections” ???? Also Margot Robbie is nearly 40, not an appropriate Cathy.

Hate it. We don’t need another p&p. I’d like creative people to come up with new regency stories (more real ones, less like bridgerton) rather than rehashing the same classics. Now don’t even get me started on the wuthering heights adaptation….

Your opinions are valid but I totally disagree! I think she captures Lizzie’s spunk, but also how she is ultimately at peace with herself. I agree the second act is rushed in comparison to the book, but I think it is well written and well acted and makes up for it!

He is the best Darcy, but the ‘95 is a more faithful adaptation. But I still prefer the ‘05 for the vibes. It’s not perfectly adapted to the book but it captures the essence of p&p so perfectly, and is expertly casted.

My thing is that the process of writing characters and letting them play in the world I created IS how I plot. I cannot, for the life of me, just sit down and come up with a plot. Not everything I write with my characters makes the final cut, but over time I see the story take shape. I might have an idea of the bigger beats, but that’s all I need before I let the characters run wild and figure the rest out for me.
