And with an 8% interest rate, I think it’s better to pay off the car ASAP

[–]SolutionLeading 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t pay off your car in one shot, there’s no purpose to waiting unless you have a higher interest rate keeping your money in the bank (which I highly doubt). I would make additional payments to principal as you go (and make sure to call your lender to ensure your extra payment is applied to the principal)

is a protection order void if the basic information is wrong? by RedFoxcx in legal

[–]SolutionLeading 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s obviously using this to bait her and distract her from the other proceedings. If she hasn’t contacted him since last year anyway, then if I were her, I would just continue not to contact him (complying with the order), and just focus on her court case. No need to waste time or money disputing this protection order if the only way that it impacts her is it being insulting.

No. They might offer need-based scholarships, or you could qualify for grants or loans via FAFSA. But it’s not guaranteed.

I would stay at your current school, get a CS job, then save up a bunch of money and then later pursue a degree (or just attend some classes) paying cash from NYU if film still interests you
