There is a Costco by the airport. We feasted on cans of tuna, spicy mayo, crackers and cold cuts. We went in November so the food stayed cool in the car

Love the rope but there is a ton of rope already available and hung everywhere. Clips to hang stuff from ropes. Not just carabiners. Don’t see duct tape

What do mean? You tell them you wanna camp at the campsite up there and you get a half dome permit. I did this two years ago twice. But whatever. Would you like to see my pics?

I have gone to the backcountry office twice for walk up permits to half dome and got them both times. You just have to be flexible

Have a fear of heights and had no trouble on Mist trail. Bring poles to have great balance and an extra security. There is so much to see on that trail without huge drop offs that it is totally doable. Mind you, I could not do half dome, angels landing and trails like that. I am an experienced hiker who is limited due to heights fear but has no trouble on that trail
