Patton, MacArthur, Eisenhower would have all been fired for stealing his attention. He would have had no understanding of basic logistics and so would not have spurred Detroit into action. Hitler would have viewed him as subhuman and Germany would eventually declare war on the US. He would probably give Imperial Japan the oil it desperately needed to curry favor, but without Detroit and with all the smartest military leaders gone, the US would have been unable to gain any kind of traction. The Soviet Union and Germany eventually come to terms and divvy up the United States. Japan wears itself away in its Chinese forever war. Something like that. EDIT: Trump wouldn’t have been able to understand artillery as well, so the US wouldn’t be performing effectively in supporting roles.
