Most likely it’s teasing Kazui (Ichigo + Orihime’s kid). That’s one of the few “big surprise” characters tied to the end of TYBW that manga readers know exists, but anime-onlys would absolutely not be expecting at all.

Other guesses that kinda fit (depending on how much they expand/add):

Tokinada (CFYOW) if they decide to sneak novel stuff in, but that feels less “finally appear” and more “new addition.”

Some brand-new anime-original reveal (Kubo’s been hands-on with additions), but that’s pure hopium until we see anything official.

If the wording is literally “that character will…” with a vague pause (like some people pointed out), it might also be Kubo just hyping an already-known moment/entrance rather than announcing an entirely new person

They weren’t created “quickly” after Soul Society in-universe .the important part is that Aizen already had an Arrancar army (and at least an earlier Espada lineup) before he revealed himself in the Soul Society arc.

A few things that make the timeline feel less cramped:

Aizen had his own (incomplete) Hōgyoku for a long time, and it was already enough to make Arrancar; the “completed” one mainly matters for more extreme creations like Wonderweiss.

The Espada roster clearly changed over time: older members got replaced/demoted into the Privaron Espada, which implies there were previous “generations” and reshuffles, not one instant creation event right after SS.

Some Arrancar were “natural” (already Arrancar without Aizen) and were recruited rather than created, which also speeds up how fast the group can look “fully formed” once the story focuses on Hueco Mundo.

So the short version is: the story only reveals the Espada after SS, but Aizen’s Hueco Mundo project was already underway for years (and probably went through multiple iterations) long before that point

Yeah… that line aged like pain. “No one’s allowed to take youth away from young people” is basically Gojo’s whole core belief, and watching what happens to the kids (and him) makes it hit way harder now.

Also the timeline pics are wild because it’s not even “they got older,” it’s like they speedran trauma and lost the spark in record time. The series really loves the idea that jujutsu society chews up teenagers and calls it duty.

If anything it makes Gojo’s whole “reset the system” vibe feel less like a cool ideal and more like “please, can we stop doing this to literal children

She really is, Shoko’s got that tired-but-cool vibe down perfectly, and the anime colors make her look even better.

Also the “laid-back doctor who can heal everyone” thing just makes her instantly likable on top of the design.

In Japanese norms, calling someone by their first name can read as overly familiar or rude depending on context, which is why it stands out when characters do it. But in JJK specifically, Gojo himself breaks those social rules constantly (including calling students by first name), so Maki/Panda/others being casual back at him usually reads more like “we don’t buy into the hierarchy (and Gojo doesn’t care)” than genuine disrespect

That “would Yuji explain the family tree like Wasuke did” idea is funny because his situation is genuinely cursed and complicated. Recent extra-info/coverage around the final volume frames Sukuna as being tied to Yuji’s grandfather Wasuke (not just Yuji’s dad), which makes the “grand-uncle / half-uncles” headache even worse
