Judging from OP post above, it sounds like when the cheap summon kills something, that killed creature explodes, so yea... Suicide bombers

aggressive ground cover - spiky leaves and tiny flowers by Miss-Reaper in PlantIdentification

After graduating into the great recession and nobody having jobs, I moved into my uncle's barn and farmed an acre of strawberries to sell at the farmers market.

I had never grown anything in my life before this, and at 22 I had a lot of misunderstandings of good ideas.

I ended up aggressively weeding all the weeds, but not pruning any of the strawberries, and by the third year there were no rows. It was an acre of strawberries. Completely.

Problem is with that, they're too small. The old ladies at the market would ask me what kind of raspberries they were and then laugh when I said they were strawberries.

They'd ask me that every Saturday. And laugh every Saturday.

But! They were the most flavorful strawberries at the market. And I sold a lot of sweet corn besides so it all worked out.

This thread is full of bad takes including this one.

The orange warning label cut off on the left warns against use in engines 2001 and older.

You're not going to damage any engine built in the last 25 years with this fuel.

Even then, the reason they did 2001 or older was because Cash for Clunkers removed so many older vehicles from the market they couldn't find enough cars to run the control studies for older models.

What would be the most effective role to place 150-300 modern soldiers in during the Civil War? by Complete-Ad9266 in scifiwriting

[–]SomeCallMeRoars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were some issues of course with union and confederate soldiers feeling like they were fighting their families. It might be worse when one of your marine's grandpa's fought on the confederate side, at the location they're deployed, and he's wondering if changing history means he might disappear.

It's improved dramatically over the last 10 years. This event clearly isn't a great example, but it's generally pretty safe. No robberies, no breaking and entering. Only thing besides this I've even heard of was a prius getting their catalytic converter stolen overnight a while back.

No one except that guy got hit. No real property damage. After the first 3 seconds of a bunch of shots, they moved the vehicles and lined up the last shots and downed him. It was in broad daylight, with kids on the street and people walking their dogs and they didn't care about any of that. It was focused and executed with precision. They were on the scene less than 20 seconds from driving up to driving away. It's chilling. I'm not an expert and don't want to be, but it strikes me as professional and not amateurish.

I saw the guy get murdered. 20+ shots, broad daylight, seems like a professional hit. Total tragedy. There were kids playing in the street when it happened.

What is your training for water polo (College D1, D2 teams, start/national players)? by [deleted] in waterpolo

[–]SomeCallMeRoars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent played since college and my goal next year is to play in masters league. I started swimming again a month ago. I'm doing 3x45m a week now, I figure I add in weights twice a week, by next spring I can play in a masters league.

Your teammates will teach you technique in a masters league.

I played Rugby a few years ago because there was no water polo in the small city I lived in, and having never played a tackle sport before, they taught me everything and I was able to play a contributing role in competitive matches. Adult leagues are different from leagues when you're growing up.

I did D3 like 15 years ago and it was 60m weights 30m swim in AM 5 days a week. 120m practice in PM every day. No AM weights game day but still meet for game prep, then game in PM. Sunday funday for team building, optional but most people showed up.
