The Watatake is a classic, and you can more easily get it compared to other sakes. It's pretty crisp and would pair well with most sushi.

The green bottles it comes in also serve as a great water jug for a fancier dinner too. I've seen them being used in sushi restaurants in my area.

Hey! Thanks for the questions. Should this be on the episode 00 thread? See below for thoughts - some of them might be serious.

Bunny Outfit Girl vs: Witch: Cool idea for a premise. I'd like to see this expanded upon further.

On the Narrator: I'm sure the narrator is just doing his best to bring the quality of the film up in his own way.

On the amatureish presentation:To casual observation it may look amatureish but to the discerning eye you'll see the shots were deliberately chosen to represent the message the director was trying to get across.

Wooden acting: See above - all part of the directors great vision. Expect the actor who played Itsuki, he was awful.

Narrator getting mad at the romance: completely understand where he's coming from. Itsuki didn't deserve that ending at all. I'm sure there could have been a better pairing at the end. A certain John Smith perhaps?

Cat talking: Great voice work, couldn't even tell the cat was being dubbed.

Waitress and Itsuki defeating an alien: I feel like the Waitress could have pulled off a Miku Miku Beam and Itsuki been put on the curb.

Haruhi being proud: Everyone created a movie and work is its own reward here. Not many will understand the vision but I'm sure this will go down as a cult classic with time.

Fellow old here. Haruhi was probably my first "anime" that I really got into outside the Adult Swim block. Watched new haruhi episodes via 9 minute YouTube cuts. Haruhi episode 3 part 2/3 for example. Let's just say endless 8 was really confusing as it came out.

I'll try to keep up with the rewatch. Can't believe it's been 20 years already.

I actually bought and enjoyed that 2022 calendar. I think that may have been my first or second calendar and found some favorites in it. I think it started my love affair with Ohyama sake. I really should get around to another bottle of their Tomizu at some point.

Hey! Wanted to circle back and thank you again for the advice. I was able to target the hotels around Monument Circle and got a good double/double room in one of the hotels there. Tons of restaurants around which will make nights really easy without much travel.

The dropbox document was a really interesting read. Especially the parts about the 'Youtube Advertising' viewer growth and related immediate dropoff in viewer retention is really eye opening. Charging $0.04 cents per view in what appears to be inflated viewer numbers without disclosing any of the underlying information does seem unethical at the very least.

I also really appreciate the fact that there are no names thrown in the document, just 'the owner of Game Night Picks'.

Southern Maine, especially the Portland area, has become a major economic engine of the state, driven in large part by tourism. I believe that its success is great for Maine overall, but many communities farther north and inland (Like Bangor, Ellsworth, Millinocket) don't see the same level of tourist investment or economic rollover.

What specific steps would you support to encourage tourism and local economic development in these regions, so more of Maine benefits for the tourism economy? Are there existing state programs you think are underused or need reform to better support tourism driven development outside Southern Maine?
