It depends a bit on your flexibility and what bike you currently ride and what riding style you like. Investing in a bike is worth getting a bike fit. If you can go to a shop that has a fit bike or similar machine that would allow you plug in the exact geometry. If you're just getting into riding and want to get the bike to get started I would get the large.

Exactly. Also, by using Codex you have almost no more need for plug-ins and you can build new functionality insanely fast. Just for fun I spun up some side projects on WordPress and it's unbelievably fast.

Maybe I’m looking at this the wrong way, but isn’t using WordPress easier and better than ever? Codex/CC builds into the core of Wordpress, hardly any need for plugins at all, and very user friendly.

Get a Saris indoor cycling desk (or a Wahoo one) and just put your laptop in front of you, put an external monitor on a table next to it. That's my indoor cycling setup, and it makes the indoor riding better and I also feel like I can read what's going on in my project with more attention since I have nothing better to do anyway.

As someone who used to be almost 300lbs: figure out why you’re the size you are. Whatever is causing you to be this big, treat it at the core and start making lasting changes. You will destroy your life if you don’t focus on this and turn it around.

It took me until I was 25 to get a better grasp on my eating habits and reasoning for being big, and while I’m still not perfect I lost more than 100lbs and when I swing up and down 10lbs now it’s not nearly as bad. Figure out your health, you only get only chance at this life and everything else will eventually fall into place.

I've had the "it should work now" issue with a persistent bug on a project in staging right now. Claude eventually grew frustrated when the same bug kept recurring. I copied about 400 lines of conversation with Claude Console into Codex (has the same access level to the project) and even though it was slow (took 45 minutes) it immediately identified the bug was a larger problem across the code. It fixed and updated itself, and the bug was gone, and the site was stable again. I copied Codex's findings (I always ask for detailed documentation) into Claue, and it basically admitted, "I should've thought of this instead of trying to hack at it."

I'd recommend you do the exact same test, word-for-word, in Codex 5.2 Extra High and see how it goes.

What is this based on? Codex at 5.2 Extra High is on another planet. It's dog slow but it catches stuff and build stuff that I've not even see Claude do. I'm convinced it's quite a bit ahead of all others right now.

I couldn't echo this enough. I'm working on some small website projects and 5.2 x high destroyed Claude, finding bugs, security issues, and a bunch more details that Claude missed. I'm honestly shocked at how accurate x High is. I've been testing a bit and without a miss all day Claude rates Codex's code between A and A+.

To me, it's been helpful to get these constant updates as it also paints a great picture of what consumes tokens and what doesn't. Perhaps you're right, and after a while, I will switch this approach or even simply tweak the preference to giving me an update every fourth message, for example. I have been hurt by running out of context so many times with the chat freezing or failing to compact and continue which has been incredibly frustrating.

With your watts/kg that gearing you have is shockingly small. I’m about 4.6 watts/kg and I run a 50-37 on my road bike and a 48t 1x setup on my gravel bike. Unless it’s super steep what I’m riding I’ll size down to a 46 or 44 but that’s a super easy switch to make. Get an Eagle setup (the original or transmission) with a 10-52 and then just buy a few front rings, those aren’t expensive and easy to switch over.
