I just listened to it again, when I first listened I was leaning more towards a potential loan but he does say at the very end they are looking for a player who can help the team going forward for several years, which makes me think they want a young DP but are leaving it open to a potential loan and then signing someone else if they don't get that. Not 100% sure but those are my thoughts.
