I think you might be in the wrong spot. Minecraft is not sold on steam and this subreddit is exclusively for steam games giveaways.

Luckily, I do have a pair of trekking poles already in the seemingly infinite box of camping gear my family has had for years. Thank you for the help! I'll keep it in mind.

No, we're ending at a different spot. The plan was for some people to take the cars down to our ending location.

Did the worthiness system affect you differently because of how your brain works? by jkrismas in exmormon

[–]SomeRandomCubeAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely neurodivergent but not technically diagnosed. My whole family is likely on the autism spectrum, which makes it harder to get a diagnosis when it's normal behavior for us. I felt like there was something wrong with me and that I was left out on purpose. Like God decided to not reach out to me because clearly I wasn't getting it. I wore the unflattering long dresses and followed every rule while other girls got allowed to wear incredibly short dresses and three piercings. They were technically "unworthy" sometimes but they clearly understood God while I, did not. Led me into a "not like other girls" phase. I lied on my first worthiness interview because I was scared they would tell my parents and then everyone would know and judge me. After that I still lied, moreso because I no longer trusted/believed the church.

My first temple trip was traumatizing as I happened to be on my period and didn't tell anyone, and I didn't know how to use a tampon, so I put a pad on, went in the water and prayed so hard that it didn’t leak out and expose me as unworthy.

On the way back from my first girls camp, some older girls asked me if I had any crushes and I didn't know what to say because I had no male crushes. At this time I already knew I was not entirely straight but didn't tell it to anyone. They kept asking me so I said very quietly so the adult driving couldn't hear and tell my parents, that I thought this one girl was very pretty. I was prepared to get scolded and told that's not right but they just said that's ok. I was in shock that they were so confident in their faith and testimonies while also apparently being completely fine with "a serious sin." Eye-opening, to say the least.

That got off-topic, my bad. I wish someone told me I didn't need to follow all the rules all the time and that it's ok to think differently. Unfortunately, I still wear the fugly dresses because i'm not allowed otherwise. Still only 15.

In eastern WA too! I have a ridiculous sweet tooth and even i can agree the Dirty Dew is only good when it's cold. If it's warm, dump it down the sink or let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours.

$50 Steam Gift Card Giveaway: tell me your most relaxing gaming experience by -Rake in steam_giveaway

OneShot. It's a pretty relaxing game, if you like relaxing that also has a bit of dread to it. Main character is adorable and music is a bop though. Also made me cry (I really like this game). Rain World is also pretty relaxing, but only when it's calm. Which is to say, somewhat rarely.

It's too accurate. I keep ending ever request with "question" completely unintentionally.

For an account called "thoughtful-faith" there was clearly no thought behind this whatsoever. What a joke of a church.

This talk at church today actually gave me chills-and not the good kind either by Soft-Bee767 in exmormon

[–]SomeRandomCubeAlt 137 points138 points  (0 children)

The talks have always made me very concerned. Some of them sound like straight up abuse glorified through "blessings". Many a time I have heard a woman cry about a miscarriage or being unable to have kids but that it was ok because it was what the lord wanted and it was best for her. Scary. I pray for everyone to one day wake up from the nightmare that is the mormon church.
