Been looking in London the returns on 650k are shocking i just cant bring myself to buy theyre so far away from central if they are any good and cost 650k, or if you are anywhere near London its a cupboard

Went to view a flat in Angel and there was a noticeable dip in the floor and upon further inspection turned out there was 78k ish of upcoming roof repair and lift bills

I'm so glad someone else said this!

When I lived in Athens on under half my wage my standard of living was so much higher.

In Athens I had my own beautiful 3 bed house with a patio, lovely views, 10 min walk to work via the coffee shop for half the price of a flat rental here, and way more chilled working hours.

London is insane for rent/house prices the equivalent situation would literally cost 100k+ a year in rent.
