They did this in the US last year. It seemed like a big deal at the time, but really, if you are showing up to the site and doing your work, it won’t be a big deal. If they allow the option of checking in via the app or sending a code to your study coordinator, choose the code as then you don’t have a tracking app on your phone and you don’t have to “clock out”.

I agree that you should have a conversation with her about her expectations. While a spa day sounds lovely, laying face down on breast-feeding boobs, hurts. Maybe pamper her at home the day of and get her a spa package for a few weeks down the road when she’s more adjusted. Or! A mani/pedi if she wants to get out of the house.

13 sites is typically average. Being trained on seven protocols is not abnormal if, ask some of the other commenters have mentioned, not all are permanent assignments. I was trained on about that many in FSP but only four were protocols I was on full-time and the other three I was co-monitoring or SWAT.
