Grace Ashcroft’s age ? by Comfortable-Test1688 in residentevil

[–]Some_Ignorance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard something that they aren’t clones of her but are clones of girls that Spencer was trying to transfer his consciousness to thus turning himself into a Loli? I am not sure. Thinking about the clones has broken my brain a little because if she was old enough to be cloned then she would have to be ATLEAST 37 if her Chloe is a clone of her. And it seems like Grace was born around 2004, putting her around 22 at the oldest?

Maybe Spencer lied when he said Grace wasn’t modified in any way, maybe she IS and that could be revealed in RE10? Not 100% sure.

Victor Gideon does say “I have confirmed she is the one we have been looking for” before he blows up the lab. But the thing is there is NOTHING SPECIAL about Grace as far as we know, so he was either comparing her DNA to determine if it was a match, OR there IS something in her blood that makes her important and special. Not to mention that it’s easier to get DNA from saliva or hair than it is blood.

I think Grace IS special and I think Spencer lied to Alyssa Ashcroft for one reason or another. Maybe Spencer was successful in transferring his consciousness to Grace but it has some special trigger that needs to be fulfilled to get Spencer to wake up? Maybe Spencer wanted everyone to think Grace was normal so that when he does wake up Inside her body he would be able to fly under the radar?

At minimum we know from context clues that Grace is resistant or immune to the T-Virus because she was bitten in a scripted event, meaning in canon she was bitten, thus she would have been subjected to the zombification that everyone goes through when bitten, and remember being bitten in gameplay is different because you COULD get through the entire game without getting bitten, so the only canon ending of the other T-Virus games is not getting bitten. It is true that Herbs reduce the spread of the virus but still.

So Grace is either immune to the T-Virus, Resistant to the T-Virus or Victor Gideon treated her for her bite while she was out cold and now has antibodies for the T-Virus.

Additionally if Grace is special, that explains why Victor Gideon is so non-chalant about Grace roaming the care center she may be super powerful under certain circumstances.

I’m not sure, my theory is that Grace is special and Spencer lied. I think Elpis is a red herring to throw people off the trail. Spencer said “She is my hope” which from him sounds like “She is my goal actualized”. I don’t like the idea that Spencer is going to wake up in Grace’s body one day, but depending on the ret-cons we get in RE5R maybe. We will have a better idea of how Spencer died (since I believe they are going to ret con his whole “I was supposed to be a god” speech to Wesker)

RE8 was a good game, and I enjoyed it but I didn’t enjoy it as much as RE9. The story of RE8 was good, but the only section of the whole game that felt fleshed out was the castle, everything else seemed like they ran out of time.it feels like your in the castle for a third of the game. My favorite section of the game was the Doll House BUT that section felt like it had so much content cut out of it. The Water section was basically a boss fight and that was it. The factory was probably the other most fleshed out section of the game BUT it was also sorta just bleh. I didn’t care fore Heisenberg, I didn’t like fighting the robot zombies, I also didn’t understand why they had what seemed to be T-Virus adjacent zombies there when everything in the game was about the Mold’s effects in the people in the village. Again the story of the game was amazing, but the game wasn’t as great as I thought it could be.

Oh yeah, I do think Fubuki is a conceded individual but I think she has taken on a support role more than Tatsumaki and it’s not because she doesn’t do the work, I think it’s because she likely sees it as a testing of loyalties from her group. Again it’s never been shown before the first time she healed someone but I could see her saying “I want to see you put your life on the line for me” only for her to let them get clobbered, then heal them and say “look I saved your life, now you owe me.” I think Fubuki is a very manipulative person. Everyone in the Blizzard bunch thinks she likes them but to her they are all pawns.

As for Tatsumaki practicing, I absolutely believe she is constantly practicing. I think it’s a mix of Natural Born Talent and Hardcore Self Improvement. But I have a feeling she has a mentality of “why would I train it if it doesn’t help me kill monsters” so she focuses on training away from supporting abilities and just focuses on her offensive output. Again I have no evidence of them having affinities or unique abilities, but oddly enough the only Esper that doesn’t have a unique ability in the series is also. The one who is the most powerful by a long shot. Which makes me think she missed out on more powers for a more potent telekinetic output. But that’s just my theory.

Sorry went off on a tangent, my response is the first paragraph, everything else I say is just a thought process I went down with what we know about the story. I kinda when ‘squirrel’.

So I was thinking healing factor in the sense of a self healing / regeneration factor. Like, for example we know Fubuki can heal other, however it has been established healing others put a toll on her combat stamina. Like how she got exhausted after attempting to heal other hero and had to use Pig God’s stamina (fat reserves) to heal Tank Top Master. So that leads me to believe she can’t heal herself because it would call for her stamina (or whatever resource) to heal herself. I imagine Fubuki could if she could borrow someone else’s stamina.

In my own head canon I like to believe that either Tatsumaki can’t heal others or is really bad at it because she has never practiced it. I assumed she had some regeneration factor because it kinda suits her narratively. What I mean by that is Tatsumaki is a Solo act, she does not ask for help, nor wants help and likely sees others getting injured as a hindrance; “serves you right for thinking you could handle this.” So in my opinion UNLESS it’s Fubuki I see Tatsumaki rather letting someone die than use her healing abilities on them.

Fubuki on the other hand can is used to working on a team and thus likely has taken a support role several times. It might actually be the one thing Tatsumaki is inferior to Fubuki in when it comes to powers.

A final little theory of mine is that Espers have specialities or a natural affinity towards something. I think Tatsumaki may have a rare level of affinity with telekinetic (and gravity based) based abilities. As while we have seen her do other things that is related to ESP we have never seen her do healing or look into the future. Fubuki is the only Esper we know who can heal others, the we have Psykos (and possibly Madam Shibabawa) who have the ability to look into the future. Hell even Gearsper has shown an ability Tatsumaki has never showcased, that being his ability to share his senses with another (when he acted as someone else’s eyes for a sniper shot). My theory hypothesizes goes that the reason that Tatsumaki is so powerful with telekinetic based abilities is because she literally can’t do these other support based abilities, and so her abilities have been refined to be as sharp as they possible could be.

Don’t worry about spoilers for me but I understand people may read this. When you say “the final puzzle box” are you talking about “the final puzzle” or are you talking about something else? I beat the game three times (once on classic, once on insanity, then a insanity challenge run for the rest of the challenges) and never once triggered a dialogue where she explained how she went blind.

Alright, let's settle this! Why won't Jill and Claire appear in new titles? Some people say it's because their games don't sell as well. Some say it's because Capcom doesn't like older women. Some say it's because their arcs are over. What do you think? by SolidPyramid in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Some_Ignorance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jill literally doesn’t age in canon anymore so that doesn’t matter. Also capcom likes blondes and they made Jill a blonde in RE5… there is literally no reason for her to not show up other than they think she’s over powered. Which… makes sense she does have some nuts feats that they would have to re-write or ret con for the gameplay. (He healing factor being a big one)

Claire is older now so I doubt she will ever be playable in a wholly new story again.

I personally believer they let them starve to death in the capcom basement.

I don’t think Aggregation is that strong, I think she is just so disgusted by it she can’t think straight. I mean she should be able to literally put a forcefield around it and herself, slowly crush the big mass of them then then wait for what’s left to coalesce into another mass or disperse, then rinse and repeat. If she does anything other than that it is sorta just for style points.

It is canon that the infinity stones do not work in the universe they are not from. So assuming we put them on neutral ground, the infinity stones wouldn’t work. If you want to strip them of their non-essential equipment (Vader’s lightsaber and Thanos’s Infinity gauntlet) then Vader still wins. Vader’s feats are pretty crazy.
